The World of Faeries Festival

Join us for our Fifth Anniversary World of Faeries Festival.

The entertainment for this year's, our 5th Anniversary Festival, is coming together nicely. We have almost completed final preps. So far:

The Swords of Valore, Knotty Bits, Elven Drums, Sacred Spirit Rhythms, Lehto and Wright, Randy Granger (native flute and hang drum) tentative, Harp with Megan, Joshua Safford (storytelling and The Raven), tentative, activities for children and families with Fairygodmother Rose, more to come...

Merchant space is open for this year's festival August 1st and 2nd 2009, Vasa Park in South Elgin IL. Just a few miles from I-90 interchange. Early bird special deadline is only a few weeks away. After that the price goes up. Don't miss out. The only change this year, is electricity went down and we added $10 to booth fee. The early bird is $150 for the total cost of weekend with a generous 10x10 space. And there's specials on other booth sizes as well. for info and application, play the videos etc. Be a part of this event. The merchant village is one of the favorite parts of the festival.

Volunteering is encouraged too. Volunteers are greeters, man the admission booth, give out programs, direct people to parking etc. Volunteers get free admission with a minimum of hours served for the weekend, as well as fairy dollars for food.

Would love to come as I launched my new book Messages from nature's guardians at the Cornwall Faery fest in England. My book features some of the world top fantasy artists Jo Walls, Linda Ravenscroft, Jane Star Wells, Michelle lee phelan and more as well as the messages from all the Fairies and other Elementals. I cannot make any garentee's about this event. I'm very likely going to be going to an event in ohio which is closer to me. But.. I'd love to go if the two didn't conflict each other. I'm still not sure which I'll go to.

I'm so excited about this I havent been able to attend many events due to distance but this is pretty much in my backyard. Thank You!!
