****You are invited among us to enter this enchanting world, in celebration of Yule.****
This Sabbat has dates back to 5000years old. Yule means ‘wheel’ in reference to ‘the wheel of the year’, and is also called the Winter Solstice. It marks the longest night of the year and the point when the days slowly being to lengthen. As the Sun is reborn new ideas, dreams, hope and projects are born, and our thoughts and energies turn to the new season of life ahead.

Recognized as a time of closure. Gracefully let go of those things that are no longer needed. A time for renewal and rebirth. A time to think about what you want to accomplish in the months to come. Outline the goals you wish to work towards. With the arrival of Yule it evokes an exorbitant amount of good will, warmth, and cheer, it also provides us time to reflect, a time to count our blessings, and a time to show appreciation for all the wonderful things other people do for us. With the smiles there is pause for thought. Count each blessing gratefully, as the time to show appreciation has come.

The newborn Sun is the Great Mother’s gift to the world, and this is reflected in our gifts to friends and family. Giving is a statement of faith in the abundance to come and in the love that survives the coldest winter.

In a tradition formed by us we do a grab bag gift exchange (everyone who comes must bring a small gift to be placed in a grab bag under $10.00) . Preferably a gift crafted by your hands.

WE ARE ASKING IF PEOPLE COULD BRING WINES, JUICES, GRAPES, CAKES ETC. IT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.
COSTUMES FOR THIS SOIRE ARE MASKS OF ALL KINDS AND COLORS LIKE RED , WHITE, GREEN, WHATEVER TAKES YOUR FANCY ETC. AS WE LOVE TO DRESS UP.
