What artistic abilities do you have?
I was wondering what artistic abilities everyone has. My artistic talents lie in modeling clay. I cannot make anything that looks like a real human or animal, but I seem to have a knack for creating things that are purely from my imagination. I have taken some photos of one of my creations. I mad this piece when I was 17, I am now 22 soon to be 23 this month. The antenae on the left (or the pieces right side) had broke off some time ago. Please share with everyone what your artistic abilities are and please share photos of your creations.

I draw, paint, write (poetry and such) and compose music.

I'm a writer, poetry, short stories and i'm in the midst of my first honest to goodness novel (and have been for several months)!
I'll also add that myself and my life are art in themselves. It sure takes a lot of creativity being me on a daily basis!

Anthony I love your clay sculpture! Its wonderful! I never had much luck with clay but I have done drawing and painting. And I really got into digital art making fractals. Here's a couple..there are others on my page.

Hey Anthony! I would say more of a "crafty" ability and that is CROCHET (the punk rock of needlecraft hehehe). I never knew that "hookers" got their name when Irish prostitutes at the shipyards crocheted between clients - HA! Most of my stuff is hippy hemp tams and such, been doing it now for well over ten years!

I draw, I paint ( oils mostly ), I sculpt ( clay, metal, wood, and i want to try stone ), I am learning guitar, and working very slowly on a movie script.
this is the one i am working on now...this is the underpainting that will be a full color oil in a few months
this is a hand craved chest i did for my best friends wedding gift, i wish i had a better pic.. I craved it out of red oak ( for all those who are going to attempt craveing a relief do not use red oak its way to hard LOL) and i did mozaic tile on the top

That chest is beautiful!
I tried my hand at relief carving and I haven't gotten the hang of getting the background evenly carved. I'm a bit of a perfectionist and feel the need to have it perfectly flat. =)
I tried oaks of all types when I first started carving. I have a thing for oaks. ( I just recently tattooed scarlet oak to my shoulder.) The density of the wood and the grain make it very difficult.
I found that a great beginners wood is sasafras. Especially if your carving is going to be a bit angular in nature.

I am a dancer,jazz,ballet,modern and bellydancing. My asolute favorite is,dancing 'roun the balefire,though HA!! I choreograph stuff alot and have taught on and off for years and danced professionally with several dance companies. My dance instructor for bellydancing is forming a troupe now. It is my form of raising energy! I also do aerobics and weight lift.

Beloved Isis ...the program I use is called Ultra Fractal. It only makes fractals tho. I always heard Photoshop was best for digital art...I think some are using a program called Poser for 3D but I don't know much about it.

1) Acting: Normally Im still hired as extra, but I have already filmed two tv comercials as secundary actor
2)Writing: I like to try small stories and poetry from time to time, most of them in spanish, but here there are some of my poems in english, when I wrote the first one (invocation) I was just starting to read about paganism and magic, I think that will be evident when you read it
