i recently was talking to someone on another site who told me he was a hedge witch and wore a white hat and that his ex girlfriend wore a black hat....when i asked further he told me he didnt bear her any grudges which i thought was fine and that he meant her no harm which again was fine until in the sentence after he went on to say that he had had his revenge as he had attacked her with a hammer ....is it just me or do some people just think its fine to hide behind beliefs that they dont fully understand and use it to condone what they do???Needless to say he is no longer a friend !!!
Yes she did wouldnt you have but by the sound of it ..it was a long drawn out thing but you would think he could at least take responsibility for what he had done
LOL! Yes, some who "talk the talk" CANNOT or simply WILL NOT "walk the walk"! LOL!
Are you sure this guy wasn't pulling your leg? Or referring to a "hammer" spell???
Hmmm...wonder WHY he wore a white hat... LOL! You think it matched his eyes or something?

pmsl mm maybe it was a long tale he told but no he had attacked her and seemed most upset that she involved the police i just found what he had to say disturbing and was amazed that he kept using references to wiccan and such as a way to justify what he did.Just goes to show that some people will do ANYTHING
GREAT! Another one! Like we don't get enough "bad press" from those who practice "traditional religion"...and here's yet again someone validating their claims by calling himself witch and behaving like an arse!
I'm a FIRM believer in justice...you would not BELEIVE where he would wake up to find that hammer if I was dealing with him! Oh...he'd wake up...he'd just REGRET It for a VERY LONG time!
If I had to choose a title, I am considered a hedge witch.. I have this blogged on my site, and thought it might help here.... It's from Raven Grimassi's book, "Encyclopedia of Wicca & WitchCraft" page 179.. Hedge Witch: is a term for a Witch who practices in a solitary fashion and does not belong to a coven or tradition; typically such an individual does not claim to have been initiated. He or she relies upon self-study, personal discernment, and intuition. In many ways a Hedge Witch is like the old village Witch who lived a solitary life but was called upon for spells and healing potions by the local folks.
The Hedge Witch commonly works with his or her familiar spirit, and incorporates the use of herbs, trance, and shamanic techniques such as drumming to induce altered states of consciousness. The Hedge Witch is usually very involved with working for the ecology of the planet, and tries to use only natural objects and materials for ritual and magickal purposes. Other names for a Hedge Witch, is Green Witch, Wild Witch, Nature Witch. (hope this helps)..
As for your question: Yes you will find many that do that... Like the others, I have no clue what the black and white hats were for..
Remember one thing, always keep an open mind and listen to what others have to say. Now, with that said, just because a person writes a book, or says this is the way things are suppose to be done, DOES NOT always mean it's the right thing (or path) for you, this is only that one person's opinion. The more you research on ways of doing things, and different paths, the more you will learn what works for you and come to find your own path ways.
