Do clothes make a difference? I think they do. We would not wear to work what we go to bed in,generally. I enjoy looking like a witch. I have always wore black, silks, velvets, silver, purple my whole life. What do you think?
I wear every color there is, with my favorites being green and purple. My style of clothes is very laid back; tanks, t-shirts, shorts, stretchy pants. I'm a teacher so I have to dress a little more professional for work but the kids always peg me as a hippie, gypsy, or witch. (I'm all 3!) I used to have very long hair and that added to it. Now that my hair is short, they still know. Even make up makes no differrence. I think it is more of an aura they pick up on, not the clothes I wear.
Its NEVER neccessary, this is the point,it is what and how one chooses to dress as for some, its just a natural extension. I believe age is irrelevent! Too many let age limit them. Hell no!! And aye, other than the cat o' nine tails,I would wear this, while mayhaps one less bellydancing scarf on a Monday!
Oh thank you........I just dont do well blending nor like to. The Church Lady thought i was neglecting Da,so instead of simply asking me,she went pyscho.....aye,she was quite prim and proper.....till she went for the throat! HA!! She got kicked out. I stayed. First fight at the Williamsburg Scottish Fest in years,by two grannys, the Scottish Christian and the Celtic Earth witch.....I loved this dress too. What do you think?
What sense is it to be "different" if no one knows? I love to dress "witchy" lots of black with silver jewelry and the sort. I even bought a jet black billowy trenchcoat at one time cuz it just looked so damn cool. I enjoy being apart from the norm, because thats what I am. I am a witch and Priest and proud of it, yeah!!! I would carry a broom if it wasnt so bulky!
I dress to what's comfortable, but I wear my necklace at all times. I work with the public and I have found that even those who don't dress obviously pagan, they have this vibe about them. I usually notice them from jewelery though :)
