Hm, that's different. Never thought you could learn that from a DVD.

But, I guess some would argue that learning from books is the same.

I'm not sure, I'd have to think about that more. Thanks for posting this though, I wouldn't have seen it otherwise!

Maybe it's just me, but I don't see a problem with this. Granted, I have not watched this DVD. However, if it properly goes over everything shown in the previews then it seems like a very educational video. This seems no different then reading a book on the topic (everyone has their own take on Wicca and Witchcraft anyway). Actually, I think this is a great addition to researching Wicca because you can actually see how objects look and how to perform rituals and such; rather than trying to imagine these things from a trite description in a book. If you are a solitary practitioner and have never been in a coven, it can be hard to know where to begin and how do things. I think this would be a great addition to a person's knowledge on the topic.

Someone else posted that it's no different than learning from books - I agree with her. You'd probably get the same information from this video as you would from a Scott Cunningham book, right?

We could all do well to revisit Cunningham a little more often. New or experienced.

That being said. Get the Cunningham books instead of this home video project. LOL

While the videos goal is not inherently bad..........I think the works of Cunningham are certainly better and handier.

I don't see anything wrong with it really. To me it would just be another way of learning. I too, have never seen the DVD myself. But, if it contains things that are out there as well in books, why not.

Having a person right in front of you showing you, that would be great for some.
There are those that don't like to read, and if the DVD is any good, it would be a great way for them to learn.

That's my thoughts.

It could have been better made...but dvds are expensive to produce!

Do you really think that Crowley..if he were alive now...or gardner...would not use video or dvd?

Heck...those guys would be on the discovery channel!

actually its a pity..I would love to See a movie of Crowley performing ritual...


BTW....any TV crews out there....I will gladly make rituals on camera.......specially designed of course to Control peoples Minds.....Muuuuuuhahahahaaaaaaa! (evil fake laugh..LOL!)

darn...theres never a TV crew around when you want one...LOL!

I think this video is okay. I havent seen the DVD, and this is just a promotion for the actual DVD. All promotional videos tend to be more attractive and all that. And hey, who hasn't started this path without Scott Cunningham or th others? This feels the same to me..

I wish her every success. It takes a great deal of courage to create a DVD like that and put herself out there for all to see and then maybe see later somewhere in Great Britain. She's moved her original site, the one in the DVD, because of server troubles and of course zealot spamming. Can you imagine what someone suffers daring to bring rites and rituals, even if it is Wicca 101, to the masses?
Bless her courage. And may she be embraced in the safety of the powers, as one who is the teacher the seeker seeks.
