I really do think that Obama/Biden is going to win, and not just because I support them. Biden has experience, Palin does not.

I totally agree Palin is well inexperienced unlike Joe Biden. I support Obama 100%. I hope he wins the election

Not necessarily. At least he's been involved in the greater 48. Palin was a Mayor, and a governor briefly.

Obama is NOT very experienced, but has more of a mind for the people.

I think we're not going to have another rebublican in office unless another attack happens. Then poeple would vote for McCain because he would talke action. I hope Obama wins

You're right, Obama has little experience, as does Gov. Palin. They have approximately less than 700 days or so of experience a piece, hardly enough to be placed in such positions of power. Imagine a young army private being made a general after about 700 days or so of service? This is basically the same case here. We have to open our eyes people. We aren't voting for American Idol!

It should be interesting to see if Sarah can learn in 24 hours what Biden has spent 30 years experiencing; she must have an eidetic memory.

VP running-mates usually have little effect on the Presidential voting (less than 1%). I haven't seen anything about Gov. Palin that I like. Sen. Biden has a habit of putting his foot in his mouth, but he's a savvy, experienced Federal politician, one of the best America has to offer. I think nothing short of him shaving his head and prancing around naked will make anyone vote for Sen. McCain that wasn't going to already.

I seriously doubt it. Having Dan Quayle as a running mate didn't stop George Bush, Sr getting elected. Everyone knew that Quayle (with a negative IQ) was only a heartbeat from the presidency. No president has ever won an election on the strength of who they chose as a running mate.

I suspect McCain was bullied by the party into choosing a right-wing running mate, one who would be attractive to men, and something that would offset the Obama factor (first black president vs first woman vice president).

Well, they say that with his age and skin cancer, McCain's odds on dying in office are 1-in-4 (over 2 terms), 15% during the first term.


Do I hear the words, President Palin? Much more likely than President Biden.

I should say however, that I think it is likely that Palin would probably spend a year or two as VP, and then quietly resign to spend time with her family, before anything happens to McCain. They'll replace her with a white male Christian.
