What! That's so wrong! How can you just throw away a life like garbage???? Especially with all the agencies, and people willing to adopt animals! Dang!

People are crazy... I can believe that this happens, but I don't want to believe it.

Someone who does not care for or respect the source of life ... that is who.

He is sooo very adorable! Your friend is blessed because the Goddess knew she would take care of him!

There are a lot of people who just plain suck. I'm glad it all seemes to have worked out well in this case though. One thing i will add, though, is that i don't think there is anything wrong with wishing ill apon those who do such things. They're asking for it by their actions, practically begging for the destruction that they so richly deserve.

People can be very cruel. I live in the middle of nowhere on a dirt road and yet I have several young animals wander in every year that have been dropped off on the side of the road by people that dont want them. I curently have 8 cats and 3 dogs. All are either wander ins or rescueded animals. It is up to people like you and I to do our best to offset this type of cruelty

Congrats on your rescue! He's a cutie. As to how someone could throw away an animal --- unfortunately, many people consider them disposable. Happens a lot with pit bulls and other "fighting breeds" in the city . . . in our area, it's mostly hunting dogs and retrievers. I work with a beagle rescue organization, and you would not believe how many dogs come into the rescue process emaciated, heartworm-positive, shot, or worse. They're frequently starved or dumped in the woods if they won't hunt (putting them down would be kinder --- not to mention trying to sell or adopt them out as pets, which some hunters will do). Best wishes for you all!

If someone would throw away a puppy like that they'd be dangerous with a child in their custody. The puppy was blessed that evil that discarded them did so in a can near where your friend would find them. And that they cared to follow that pleading sound is a blessing for all of us that one of such compassion opened the cover and saved the life. ((Hugs)) to Oscar and friend.

Blessings upon your house, always.

Awww! He's so cute. People are so mean. They really disgust me. I found my third dog, Lucky, in my yard on one of the coldest & windiest days of the year. He was curled in a ball, shivering and very emaciated. It was horrible! I kept him and fattened him up.

Blessings to your friend and to Oscar as well! I'm sure he will bring her much happiness.
