In one of my other groups,someone said they are a Roman Catholic Gypsy Witch..WOW! Is there such a thing? In my wee scottish mind,I can not wrap my head around HOW you can be a Christian and a witch.Any thoughts?
Good grief woman, haven't we beat this horse to death?
If you separate religion and witchcraft; you can in fact be a Christian-Witch. If one takes on Witchcraft as their relgion; there's no need for the separation; its all incorporated into the practitioners magic.
Do you remember the thread on Orthodox Witches in Romania?
Oh come on Sin,its NEVER been answered,we just went round and round about it!! BUT,again this is an opinion question,there is NO right ir wrong,me? I say absolutely NOT,others thik its possible. I dont see how.......Magick practices are condemned to hell in the bible,now whaty witch doesnt do magick?
Call me Mary Poppins but I say you can pretty much be whatever trips your trigger and works for you. Having come from a religion that told me what I could think and what books I could read and what I had to do with my time each Sunday and what jokes I could laugh at... I am just WAY into religious freedom. You can be a christian hindu pagan satanist witch for all I care. Be what you want, worship how you will, call your self a high preistess of the order of the frito lay, whatever. It's all good. Guess I just don't understand why everybody is so into questioning everybody elses spirituality.
Because it is interesting and I want to know. This is how we all learn and grow by sharing..Again for the fourth or fifth time,I am not putting anyone down,just curious. Were you a JW??????
I folllow the path of Picta Wita,worship of nature and the Goddess.My religion and witchcraft practice are co joined. I dont think you can be a christian witch. Either your a christian or a pagan. You cant be both.
The practice of witchcraft however is not something associated exlusively with paganism. Any religion is capable of co-joining and practicing witchcraft. However, it may not go by the same name but rather a synonym.
I would say that you must open your perspective a bit wider, Witchcraft is not exclusively Pagan. What makes you think that in order to practice Witchcraft you must be Pagan? We are speaking of Christian-Witch, not 'Pagan-Christian'; {scratches head.}
However,there are those that claim to be Christian witchs and this is where this question comes in,how can one be a Christian witch and follow the biblical teachings of what the bible teaches?
