Is it right to allow actual Nazis onto this site?

Should full-blown Nazis be allowed on this site? I'm usually one for free speech, but when do we draw the line? I know a lot of us have no love for Christianity and Judaism (being Pagan it's easy to pick faults about them), but when should we stop disliking and start hating and favouring holocaustic methods? I mention no names, but I came across a very questionable new member who has not tried to hide in his description about himself that he fights all forms of Judaism or Christianity to "protect the Aryan race", and mentions his belief that Jews and Christians have taken over the world!??! I'm all for free speech, but this man condones the ideals of a sect of murderers and war criminals who once called themselves the "Aryan race", who over half the world stood up to fight. Almost every nation sacrificed many lives to stop this way of thinking because of its dangerous and brutal intolerance of anyone coloured, foreign, religious, disabled, gay, communist or different in any way! Yes, Hitler was a Pagan. Hitler was a vegetarian too, but you don't see the veggies using that as an excuse to protect the Aryan race. Maybe this new member should keep his anti-semitic views to himself. But what do other people think?

Merry Meet Danja

WOW.......what an unexpected discussion!

I am uncertain of why anyone with such views would want to be on this site, I doubt there will be much support in this regard...... if they are gathering an "army" it migth be a bit disappointing LOL

We all have opinions on various things, but I have to wonder what this person defines themselves as? How could any Pagan want to cause such harm ? I dont find Hitler the "norm" !!!!........Being one who has visited the holocaust museum in Israel, I must say I have never seen anything or felt anything quite like it my life, utter despair, leaving the place crying & in shock, just like many other people.......I will never forget the young German backpackers sitting outside screaming & lying on the paventment distraught, yelling "sorry" to everyone who came out the exit..........I found that distressing in itself.........hardly their fault, and as much history you might be taught & books to be read, nothing quite describes this museum.............I was unprepared to say the least!!!

I will be interested to hear varying views on this, I am open to most things, but I must say I do feel a bit "shocked" for want of a better emotion right now..........

Hmmm

Blessed Be

Many Neo-Nazi groups are Adopting pagan beliefs as there own. Paganism is also growing very fast within the prison system also.

This is quite concerning. We all seem to spend so much time trying to put things right about the misconceptions of our Various Pagan paths, and now it seems a new "strain " is arrising, that is mis-interpreting it all for their own reasons........once all the massacres & hate crimes hit the news as "pagan driven", I am sure we are all in for some rough times once more.

JMHO...

Many Neo-Nazi's are improperly re appropriating Asatru faith to suit their own needs. Taking it out of context. Sad really.

Capricorn,

What is wrong with adapting and reconstructing a belief system for one's needs? Can you elaborate?

Ta-da! *AND*I bet you didn't even need a wand to conjure up that one, did you, Sabrina? *lol*

Yes I agree. Just look at some of the events in recent history. Supposedly these things were born out of some kind of faith, one that has two very different sides, peaceful and non. Yet they all call themselves of that faith. Paganism can't be immune to this phenomenon. We are after all first and foremost humans...and we're all very complex, sometimes exasperating beings.

Blessings.
ROFL, funny Sabrina.

hmmmmnnn....I think Hitler was a pagan in the loosest sence, he was into the occult but not openly if I am remembering my history correctly, and most "nazis" were christians fooled by a charismatic speach-giver during hard times who convinced the people that the problems they were going through were the Jewish people's fault. The problem is "Pagan" covers a wide range of beliefs, almost all of which...along with with all of the popular modern religons...believes in being nice to one another, or at least minding ones own business. Unfortuneately most religons can be perverted and its inherant power be used to convince weak minded people to do stupid and unspeakable things. Since my childhood I have been drawn to and facinated by Paganistic beliefs of all kinds, from my first childhood explorations into Egyptian, Greek and Norse mythologys, to my teenaged years of listening to blatently satanic heavy metal music, still I have never sacraficed an animal...yet alone a human to any "Gods". I am not positive but I hope that the Nazi-wannabe in question is just a confused young man who will snap out of this pit of hate, or maybe just using the symbolism to get a rise outta people, much like satanic messages in dark metal music or use of words like nigger or other profanities in urban music...no real belief behind it at all. Wondering if I have given this to much or perhaps too little thought. -j

The original poster is not a Nazi. He believes in "Aryanism" which is not the same.
