Is it right to allow actual Nazis onto this site?

Should full-blown Nazis be allowed on this site? I'm usually one for free speech, but when do we draw the line? I know a lot of us have no love for Christianity and Judaism (being Pagan it's easy to pick faults about them), but when should we stop disliking and start hating and favouring holocaustic methods? I mention no names, but I came across a very questionable new member who has not tried to hide in his description about himself that he fights all forms of Judaism or Christianity to "protect the Aryan race", and mentions his belief that Jews and Christians have taken over the world!??! I'm all for free speech, but this man condones the ideals of a sect of murderers and war criminals who once called themselves the "Aryan race", who over half the world stood up to fight. Almost every nation sacrificed many lives to stop this way of thinking because of its dangerous and brutal intolerance of anyone coloured, foreign, religious, disabled, gay, communist or different in any way! Yes, Hitler was a Pagan. Hitler was a vegetarian too, but you don't see the veggies using that as an excuse to protect the Aryan race. Maybe this new member should keep his anti-semitic views to himself. But what do other people think?

Vile vituperation? Very nice sir.
Interestingly, the worst swear word in Finnish is *vittu* (it means munt with a c).
Funny, from where I'm sitting it didn't read that way at all, UNTIL Tea posted her feelings about him personally and went as far as stating in the public discussion that she was removing him from her friends list.

Howerton has a right to his opinions, and ideas about the subject. Was there bias by only posting war atrocities committed by the Germans and Japanese? I don't think so. Since it's context was WWII, I believe he was keeping it in the right context. If we were discussion war atrocities around the globe, then yes every nation is guilty of it's own form of genocide.

Not to mention, there is ignorance displayed by many parties on this subject - yet Howerton was singled out. Why? Even if he's not as read as other users, there are more productive ways to provide him with information - aside flashing your own titles around. I know some of the most ignorant college professors, because they have a tunneled idea of the subject they teach, and they don't venture outside of the required curriculum. All that aside, it is not the duty of the teacher, to teach vs. to puff up their chests and name call?

The pot calling the kettle black is retarded. Don't cry name caller, while you are calling others names like 'Bigot'.

In my opinion Elizabeth, I think all parties should accept responsibility for their behavior here, as well as own the words they toss out at others. Scapegoats attempt to shift responsibility to others. I find the entire exchange absurd.

I for one don't see that the entire 'mood' of the discussion lies in the hands of Howerton.

@SIN As I said, I stand corrected and I apologize for taking part in the fray. But thank you for clarifying things.
No need to apologize Elizabeth, it was simply my observation.
HELL,always room for lots in the fray!!
Whatever, SIN. I think even though the thread concentrated on the atrocities of WWII, other nations' atrocities had been brought up as well. Howerton was singled out because of the language he used. Fine by me, and it doesn't bother me in the slightest, but I will comment, and yes, that does make me a bigot. A bigot can call another person a bigot, but then this begs the questions: Is bigotry on a scale in that are some forms of bigotry worse than others?
@celticlass Now, now. I'm attempting to be a polite forum-type person. Not my usual modus operandi but I'm trying something new :)
Actually Pav, I wasn't concerned with your commentary and I don't believe it is your comments that set the tone for the discussion. Guilty conscience? :-)

As for your question, is one bigotry worse than another? I don't think so, bigotry is bigotry and we all have it. I don't care who you are, or what you believe - most people have at least one thing they are a bigot about.
This is what I'm referring to Pav, to clarify my point:

I just got back on this discussion. I stand by what I said. Back in the day, the Nazis were a bunch of criminals, and they received a criminals reward. When it comes to the German people, I stand corrected, not all deserved the fate that was to befall most of Germany. I have nothing against the German people today, and the same goes for the Japanese people. However, the ancestors of the Japanese people but back in the day were a bunch of Japs...what else do you call someone who would throw a Chinese infant up in the air and try to catch it on their bayonets before it hit the ground just to pass the time or for fun. The German people also could have stopped Hitler and his goons if they had wanted to in the early days but it was only when they saw the writing on the wall that they became morally obligated to try to get rid of him and try to end the war. The German people knew what was going on in the death camps and turned a blind eye to it...so give me a break...I'm talking history here...what has happened and should never happen again...but it will if we forget. We know what the beast looks like, we know its stench, we can identify that it has passed by because the tracks it leaves are unmistakable. I also have to agree that every people have a dirty history...look at what my ancestors did to the Native Americas and the Negros here in America. There is no excuse for that evil either. I don't blame the new generations of the German or Japanese for what their ancestors did, but what their ancestors did should never be forgotten, nor should it be forgiven. The only real regrets I have about WW 2 is that when it was over some of the Nazis escaped and ended up in South America or someplace else instead of at the end of a rope. War is a game for fools...so why do so many want to play?

Back in the day, the Nazis were a bunch of criminals

No not all of them were, they were under orders just as our US Troops are today! Are we criminals as well, were we in our own war's within our own country before any of the World War's? NO, is the answer! many were, but not all. The general German Population happens to be and was back in the war, great and wonderful People!

the ancestors of the Japanese people but back in the day were a bunch of Japs...what else do you call someone who would throw a Chinese infant up in the air and try to catch it on their bayonets before it hit the ground just to pass the time or for fun.

Again another Bigoted and Arrogant remark! The Japanese who did what you said have that on their heads, but what about the ones who fled their Native Countries in hopes to lived a normal life in other countries who were appalled at their OWN Native Countries for doing such things as you speak about. They were STUCK into Camps for the FEAR we all had because their other Country for which many were not Citizens of anymore in the very Country they took refuge in. They couldn't go back to their Native Country because they too would have been sent to their death, and were STUCK into Camps in their NEW home Countries, some, actually most of the men FOUGHT for us against all the Evil that came from their Native Country!

I sense a Full Bigot here needs to take a few more REAL HISTORY LESSONS!

And I STAND BY MY WORDS HERE! Oh I was so hoping I read this Thread wrong, but you Howerton Bradwell really just disappointed me and have since been removed from my friends List!

The German People and the Japanese People are GOOD and WONDERFUL PEOPLE unless you prove me different and that I doubt you will ever be able to do! But a BIGOT you proved yourself to be!

Hope your day is going well sweetie, see ya in group in just a bit.

Blessings,
~Tea~
