Any suggestions for blessing a new well?

Quarts. White. One piece placed by, near, or in the well. That is what I did.

Or you can etch special symbols into the well.

Whatever works for you and feels personal.

Merry Meet WhiteOwl,

You could make a ritual to Oshun, the Goddess of the Waters.

She likes offerings of Honey and pennies (copper)

She loves the colors yellow and Gold.

Thank you both. I have the perfect piece of quartz from here on the hill. I am not too familiar with Oshun, but you have given me something to research. 

I feel I have a direction to pursue, thank you. :)

I am based in the UK and here people have blessed their wells for centuries. If you google- Peak District Well Blessing, you will fine loads of info. Also in the UK Druids bless wells all the time so their literature, books, groups or forums will have some info for you.

Dressing the well is a way to bless it.

Keep Timmy away from the well. However, if he insists on going near it make sure Lassie is with him. That is a Blessing in itself.
