are you a heart person or a brain person?

Its a season of change and some of us are in the midst of making big decisions. When making decisions do you let your heart or your gut lead you to the answer or do you let your mind weigh heavily on your options?

Considering the brain controls everything we do. We are all mind or brain people. Question answered.

I think I'm a brain person. Despite what my heart may really want, my brain fully takes over.

Your biggest fan, I should clarify. When I say your brain versus your heart the brain is the controllable part of your consious mind and your heart is part of the uncontrollable autonomic system within your mind. Zarak great depth.

I think you mean emotion VS. logic and reasoning in this, not mind VS. heart.

It is all in the mind, and in the hormones. Emotions are generated by thoughts and sensations.

Ethics (and my morale) should best not be dependent on my emotions, that would make them unreliable and weak, because the morale/ethics have to keep working even when your emotions have long driven you crazy.

Decisions are made based on both actually, feeling and reasoning have to harmonise. It try to avoid having to pick one above the other. But, it is 50/50 with a good result of the chances 50/50.

I believe there are many variables that would enter into your question. In some situations,the heart and on others the brain....Not all things need to be analyzed,reanalyzed or beat to a pulp to come to a conclusion on.,some do,some choices,descions,paths in life should be weighed carefully and thought through,investigated in,others? I believe the heart rules...I've found little in life is ever equally one or the other. Somtimes ,certain things simply are the right thing to do and others glaringly not.....there is a cause,effect and result for everything.
