Do any of you art journal in your book of shadows/spiritual journal? I'm looking to move from my bulky binder that has pages falling out, to a high-quality leather journal that I'm planning on art journaling and creating into the book I see in my imagination.
Tips and/or resources would be wondrous! Feel free to post pictures and offer advice. (:

Yes, that's how I do mine.
I put in it rituals, spellworkings and legends and folklore and then I just do searches for images to illustrate them, whether images of gods, places, times or botanical images of herbs.
I get decorative paper and borders to further the image, glue in dried plants or metal pieces, feathers or any other things of use or information.
Permalink Reply by Apple koenig on October 21, 2012 at 1:42am I have a binder I covered in green fabric as my book of shadows,I have a few drawings in it for illistrations of the spell or somthing to do with it. I personally think our books need some life to them some spice some personality! I have pictures I got off the computer in mine along with pressed flowers, twigs, leaves, small sea shells, and even on my fire element page a dragon chain glued on the page. Go for it! Its your book not like the worlds gonna see and judge unless you show a friend :)
Let us know how it turns out! Blessings!
