Anyone read one of the Cassandra Clare book series, The Mortal Instruments?  If yes, what are your thoughts thus far?

Nope, can't say I have.

Hello,

I have read all of the Mortal Instruments books except for the most recent one, and let me tell you they are addictive. I know that they are young adult books, but they are sooooo good.

Cassandra Claire also has another series called "The Infernal Devices" series and it is just as good. It takes place in the Victorian era, but has the same concepts as far as it has Shadow Hunters and Downworlders.

hmmmmm,

I will have to check out the fourth book and see what has changed. have you read the "infernal devices" series yet? It's as addictive as a can of Pringles! And they are turning it into a comic book series! (if you're into that kind of thing)

Haven't read the series, but I will now - thanks for the headsup. I fell in love with Cassandra's work a long time ago, thanks to this - http://www.ealasaid.com/misc/vsd/ . It's a parody of the Lord of the Rings, and totally hysterical.

Word to the wise before clicking that link - go to the bathroom, and do not eat or drink while reading. I refuse to be held responsible for accidents of any kind. :)
