Boundaries

What are boundaries?
Are there truly such things? If you are all connected as one then where
does the concept of boundaries come into play? These are interesting
questions, are they not?

Let us shed some light on this
subject from our perspective. First, let us speak of boundaries in the
physical sense. An object has its diameter, the edges and lines that
create its shape. These become its physical boundaries. If you were to
imagine a square box, for instance, the box has its own measurements
that define its physicality. These are the box’s boundaries. No one can
permeate the walls of the box, for it stands on its own. We of course,
are speaking of things in the physical sense, not the cosmic or quantum
physic explanations. Humans are not objects, but they also bear their
own physical boundaries. These are the areas in which their bodies
start and end – from the tips of the toes to the hairs upon the head.

What
other boundaries are present in your existence, in your personal
reality? You have the physical boundaries where your bodies come into
play, but you also have emotional and spiritual boundaries as well.
These can act independently of each other, but most of the time they
overlap and are entwined together. For instance, if you allow someone
to pass through an emotional boundary, there is a very high chance that
this will also affect you physically and spiritually. You may manifest
the hurt emotion in your physical body and you could also alter your
views on spirituality based upon the emotional experience.

Boundaries
are ever changing in your human experience. This is how you learn the
lesson of duality. On this side, we exist as independent souls (as you
also do) yet feel the connection of the All That Is. Boundaries are not
as important a thing to maintain as they are on Earth. Yes, we still
have to abide by universal laws of free will and such, but our learning
comes more from connection with one another. On your plane, it is about
setting boundaries to create a loving, safe environment for yourself.
Here, at home, that environment already exists. We do not have to deal
with negativity as you do.

So boundaries can become a tool for
you not only to feel safe and secure, but also to create that magic of
home. When you apply these healthy boundaries to all aspects of your
lives, the physical, emotional and spiritual, you allow the energy of
life to flow easily and gracefully. You remove road blocks that have
been keeping you from living within your truth and your power.

Boundaries
are not set in stone. As we mentioned, they are ever changing. On a
physical aspect, you may be drawn to certain foods for the majority of
your life and then one day, they suddenly do not agree with you. You
now set a boundary that this food is no longer good for your system. On
the emotional level, you may have friendships that no longer make you
feel good about yourself. And on the spiritual levels, you may find
greater truths that you have known before. You may have to expand your
boundaries to encompass greater knowledge.

Setting boundaries
on any aspect is about what makes you feel good about you. It is about
learning a process of being safe and secure and happy in who you are.
It is important that you surround yourself with situations and people
that do just that. If you are at a point in your life where this is not
happening for you, ask yourself where your boundaries exist.

It
is not your job to make everyone else happy, Dear Ones. If God took on
that role the universe would have failed within days. Your job is to
make yourself happy first and foremost. When you shine at your
brightest, you lighten the road for everyone else
