Whose been to college? Who wants to go? Where did you go/ where do you want to go? What did you take? What would you like to take or have taken in addition?
etc etc - please answer anything else you can think up on the subject (outside of sex and drugs)
I went to college. I was 9 months from my AAS in Sociology & in BS Legal Studies. And now...18 years later..I have nothing to do with either field of study. (although I did work in both fields throughout the years) I wouldn't say that it was a waste of time and money for me, I did learn a lot. It just turned out NOT to be the thing for me. Being a young Mom at the time, I found that I wanted to be at home with my kids. Yes, I wanted the money to help their father provide for them, but I found that all of the extra toys & things were not worth losing time with them. And let me tell you...working in the Legal field is not what I expected. The experience itself was good. I started at community college ( Meramec Comm. College in Mo.) and transferred to UMSL. ( also in Mo.)
Now for someone that has no kids.. that's another story.
Troy University. I'm going into my junior year, and I'm a costumer theater major/french minor. I started to be a music/theater double major with a history minor. HAH!
Currently attending; entering my sophomore year. I'm a music education major, considering a German language minor. I've also considered English and music history. It's still early on and I'm still deciding, but I think I'm going to stick with music ed. I'm in the marching band and I love it; I play Zombies vs. Humans when there's a game on campus; I love being at Western, possibly more than anywhere in the world. Although, come to think of it, I spend a lot of time over at Kalamazoo College (right around the corner) too, though I don't take classes there. *shrug* Either way, I love college. It's been a wonderful experience so far!
I am in college working on my AA in English and Photo Journalism, I would like to get my Masters in English and become a teacher, I would at least like a bachlors in Photo Journalism.
I'm currently attending college at Northern Illinois and the old campus really is beautiful. Between the lake, castle, and multitudes of trees, creeks, and flowers, I can't help being outside. I'm currently studying to be an English major with no clue what to do with a degree, and hoping a space teaching in a smaller community out west will open up.
