It really is.... I've said all I have to say, and still get sucked into circular logic. In all honesty I was hoping to see this thread die a quick death :)
There was a program on pbs via NOVA that explained how humanoid forms had a huge leap in evolution... was quite fascinating. I believe in evolution whole-heartedly... although how a chicken evolved from a velociraptor, I'll never know! LOL!
and back again....they engineered one with teeth and 26 vertebrae...nice long tail....wish they let it live. Hear they are thinking of trying it with an ostrich or something similar.
*shudders* I hope this is an urban myth... I mean they are cute and I'd love one for a pet (raptor, not chicken) but the sheer strength and intelligence of the little booger would put me off... Raptor would eat Mommy, lol.

I am familiar with the research quoted. It appears that embryonic birds have dinosaur like teeth, which they lose before hatching, and tails can be found on some, too. Just take out a few genes, tweak a few non-sense codons, and a dinosaur will hatch.
It is not yet fully possible...but will be in the near future...to have living, feathered dinosaurs running around zoos and stuffed in cages in laboratories.
A chicken does not necessarily descend from any allosaur or raptor. Its just that they have a lot of DNA in common. Not impossible...you have a lot of common DNA with fruit flies, annelids, and platypii.
Its actually easy to shut up fundies. Suggestions can be found in the humor section of Paganlibrary.com.
