Forgotten ... Keep 'em or Drop 'em?
Ok, every year for the last 2 years, two of my friends and I celebrate our birthdays together! We are each exactly 3 months apart (birthdays, not age). This year we celebrated the 1st one's birthday April 5th, mine was July 5th (Sunday), and the other person's is October 5th (which we did celebrate in October).
My birthday came and went without so much as a text message telling me "Happy Birthday" from either of them - my "friends"!
No text!
No phone call!
No gift (card, dinner, etc.)!
No email!
No instant message!
I got a "Happy Birthday" text from a girl I just met in class 2 weeks ago --- but nothing from them!
NOTHING!!!!
THEY FORGOT MY BIRTHDAY - to this day I still have not received any word from them about it.
I have seen them both, left for the store on Sunday (my birthday) ... the one (April b-day) cooked out and invited the other over ... both live a stone's throw away from me! As I drove off, one (Oct b-day) was walking to her apt and asked why I didn't come out ... I said "I wasn't told to come." I didn't even know they were cooking out! The "April" one also sent me two IM's, but still no mention of my birthday!
Should I be pissed?
