Ok....the houngan's getting off his soapbox and asking something lighthearted. ;)

How often do you serve or observe your faith?

For me, its just about a daily occurrence... I have a candle altar set up at my office (I own my business so its easier for me to decorate as I see fit) and daily light my spirit's candles, pour water and rum, and talk to them about what's going on in my life and what I need.... I have a little altar in my bedroom at home, but its a very small room and there isnt as much room as I'd like to spread out, so I do most of my daily work at the office. (That's changing though... Ive been asking my spirits to grant me more space, and the roomie came up with the idea of moving stuff around in the apartment, giving me the large dining room with the built in cabinetry to do with as I see fit... so it looks like I'll be moving my bedroom into the larger room and either placing my lwa in there in the built-ins or giving them a larger space in what will soon be my library. ;)

So... how often do you serve or observe your faith?

In what way is frequency of observance important to you (if it is?)

It may sound cheesy but, I observe my faith every minute of everyday through living, prayer, taking care of the plants, creating beautiful things, reading, cooking, cleaning, coming on PS, etc. I don't really have a separation between 'life' and 'faith'. My faith is my life and my life is my faith. =)

I have an altar in my room, with it's ritual tools laid upon it. And I speak with the Goddess and the horned God, most days. I also have my spirit guides who seem to be very interested in this site. I can often feel their presence behind me.

I have rituals for the wheel of the year, and I observe the full and new moons.

Your very blessed to have all that space. I dont have a big house privacy is almost out of the question except in the bathroom and even then (i have four girls) and a very christian wife. So most of the time i have to go out in the woods or over to my priestess house (i am blessed to have her).So to answer the question not as much as i would like.

Good thread Matt. Like so many other people, I observe my faith every time I act or think. However, I kind of approach that thought sideways. I don't think that way because the Green Man and the Lady of the Leaves are shadowing my life, or influencing my life through my actions. I do it because I seek to embody them. That's the nature of my faith. I've worked with many dieties within Wicca, or many facets of Diety if you wish, and I've honored quite a few as higher beings. But I've never sought to follow any specific dieties, until I found the Green Man and the Lady of the Leaves. Through them, I found personas and a path that I would like to make my own. So, like a child with his parents, I seek to embody and emulate, rather than externalise through formal worship. So, quite literally every moment is a religious experience to me, and an opportunity to demonstrate my devotion to my ideals.

Okay enough of that lol. On a more practical basis, I practice quite often, and I meditate/pray at least twice a day. Dharmic influences.
