lol yeah i met my husband through a former friend of mine. yep, i broke the cardinal rule of friendship and dated my friend's love interest. there is more to the story though. she had a crush on him and i did everything as a good friend would to give her the nerve to ask him out. she did it through a letter but he clued her in that he wasn't interested. so one night we all were hanging out and as we walked to our cars, ed, that is my husband's name, stopped at my car and said that we should hang out some time. we exchanged numbers and he said he would call me the next week to plan a date. i never heard from him so two days before that friday i called and told him that if he didn't want to go out on friday i had other things i had planned and that my schedule if very full this week that waiting for him to decided was not an option. well, he took the hint, we went out, and the rest is history. so yep, i was the OTHER girl but i don't regret it one bit.

I met my now EX wife in a mall while waiting to go out for the night. The friend I was with knew the girl that she was with, they introduced us and for the next 17 years from that night on, we were together until the divorce! I would not have traded that first few years for anything and I have 2 WONDERFUL sons to show out of a 17 year marriage. I'm thankful for them if nothing else! Anyone else out there still looking? I'm available and housebroken!!~ANIMALL!!

I also have an ex G/F from here on PaganSpace. Spanish Moss moved to Fl to be with me and we had some good times and some Bad times before it all ended "Up in Smoke in the Bottle" so to say! LOL We are at least civil to each other after our breakup and I like that. Again, I'm open to other online/offline relationships and have not given up on the "looking for love" saga of my life!~ANIMALL!!

hmm, well, the guy I'm with right now was a set-up.
two of our mutual friends set us up. they didn't like his present girlfriend so they intorduced us and things(convolutedly) blossomed.

I'd love to spend my life with him...so far it's been eight months...longer than we ever imagined.

My dear Husband and I met online, via "yahoopersonals.com"....
My profile was set to "private" (meaning that no one could contact me unless I invited them to do so)
I had ran a "search"-- 3 different times/days, with three different sets of parameters... DH's profile came up in all three- although it did not fit in either... (hm????) The 1st time I simply glanced at his picture and dismissed it. The 2nd time-- I read most of his profile- and dismissed it. The 3rd time, I read all of it-- and the very last line (the title of a book that he had just finished reading) caught my eye- I had just finished- and loved-- that SAME book. So I sent him an "ice breaker" short prefab email ""I like your profile- tell me more"" to invite him to reply... He wrote me back nearly 3 pages!!! We started chatting online constantly- when not working, emailing and talking on the phone. It was nearly a month before we agreed to meet in person--- and we have been inseparable ever since... Together for 3 -1/2 years, married 2-1/2...
and Destiny? Yep, we both believe that she was the one who brought us together... There are many moments in our past lives (before we met) that we can account for our paths having crossed- being in the same place at the same time... knowing and having close relationships with the same people-- even though we lived 3 states apart- until just before we met.... Neither of us disclosed our Pagan followings to the other- until after we had moved in together... then everything just kinda fell into place.....
and I couldn't be any happier!!!

we met on the internet when I was in ca thinking about moving to TN and wanting to meet friends in TN who knew what it was like to not be from TN.....in feb of 03 and emailed till I moved to Tn in May then we talked on the ph until July and we have been together ever since July 4 2003!
