I know that I have opened a lot of discussion but this question popped into my head last night and I was wondering if any one could help me with it
is it true that if there is alot of blood spilled in one place that there is a strong psychic (or spiritual) connection in that spot?

I would say yes, as the lifeforce of our blood contains every dna strand in our bodies.

I'd have to say yes, as well, based on personal observation.

it was wierd though how I thought about I was sitting in my kitchen and I was reading a book called The Vampire Diaries and in one of the chapters had a part about this town in it being a battle field for the civil war and they were saying it like that which is what got me thinking about it

I think so. Overall, just about anywhere there was a big war, aka alot of blood spilled, there tends to be alot of hauntings. Most of the big house haunting usually have something to do with something grizzly happening.

ok I really appreciate the help every one is giving me

Depends on what you mean by 'blood spilled in one place'. If you mean murder, ritual sacrifice, war, and the like then quite possibly. Violence tends to stick psychic vibrations. Strong emotions as well. Whether actual spirits or ghosties are there is another question.

It also depends on what you mean by psychic or spiritual connection. Connection to who, what , when, how, why?

If it's true, then slaughter houses are some of the psychieest places evah!

Only way to test the theory is to take sensitve people to a place where something nasty had taken place and see if they sense anything (but don't tell them why or what happened), and you'll get your answer.

Footnote and unrelated... do cows see ghost-cows at slaugher houses? Are there ghost-cows lurking in the mist waiting to get revenge on their human overlords for not honoring their spirits as they pass whilest giving up their bodies for our sustenence? ... ok random. Ignore me I was just having an amusing moment following a train of thought to the end. Human blood is no more special than animal blood imho, or else why not offer up people as sacrifice instead of animals, you'd think the Gods who accept that kinda thing would prefer people. ... man I need a nap.

I think that's a very relevant question! I don't know if cattle see the ghosts of cattle slain at the abattoir or not, but it's interesting...

And what about the Judas Goat? Does he ever see anything or get haunted by all the critters he's led to slaughter?

Maybe it takes a human mind to fit such things together, though it has been quite obvious that some critters see things or beings we don't (at least normally). Or perhaps they simply do not fear them.

And people have been offered up right alongside animals as sacrifices to the gods....but that was the past......probably...

The cattle does not need to see the ghost. They smell it, and they recognize your intent just like most animals do when you approach them as a butcher.

If you ever played video games, Diablo II had a hidden cow level where killer cows come after you with poleaxes...lol Maybe that's the fate of people who work at a slaughter house Queue applicable animal. lol

I think it depends on how all the blood was spilled. I think 'vibes' get left because of strong emotional trauma or feelings. (This is also why I think some people don't pass one right away) If the blood came from torture, battle, wrongful death(s), etc then yes, I would say there would be some strong 'vibes'. If the blood came from ritual sacrifice then I would say there would be strong vibes because the places where rituals are held regularly tend to feel charged.

Personally, I don't think it has anything to do with the blood itself. It has to deal with what happened and who was affected. Blood's blood, in my mind. It has no power on its own until it's changed, just like everything else 'mundane' in the world. =)

see another reason why is because there is a town near me that was burned down many many years ago but the only thing that is left is the road and a cemetery there and the road is named after the town and every time I go past that road I feel sick to my stomach
