For the record, I nowhere said I would see only failure. I said I would THINK, that I consider it a patriotic duty to do so, and that I would support without being blind.

Perhaps your biases lean you to see conspiracies where there are none.

I should perhaps mention that I think Obama may well be the kind of visionary success the likes of which this century will be hard pressed to beat. I've supported him for about a year and a half now, and today's speech not only brought tears to my eyes, it brought an entire medical waiting room full of people to their feet, applauding. I was absolutely one of them.

But that doesn't make me blind, and that doesn't make me willing to give up the critical process that dissent is.

Just so we're clear :)
