If Jelly Beans were magical?

If you could charm a jelly bean into having a magical property, would you?

What would the different jelly beans magical abilities be?

Would you favor them by flavor, or by the colored hue?

Would any of the jelly beans have more than one assigned magical function?

Would the jelly bean have to be eaten to make the magic work?

Is there any moral trespass by glamoring candy for the purpose of spell craft?

A pound of jelly beans could go a long way, used in this fashion.

I first thought of Jack and the Bean Stalk and the chaos that a bag full of magic beans caused. Actually just one bean stalk grew and look at what happened. But, I would probably try one just to see how it worked. Curiosity is my weak point. Have no clue how and which ones though.

I don't know about jelly beans but i do know of a magical bean that when eaten brings forth the most unusual musical sounds and magically repels all life in the general vicinity, it's incredible!

Does anybody remember the Harry Potter Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Bean sold by Jelly Belly? The Earwax, Vomit, Grass, and Sardine flavors were awful. I made the mistake of buying a package years ago.

I just looked at a full list of other flavors and since my trial of those beans many years ago they have added a few other strange flavors. I wonder what Petrol or the Diesel flavor tastes like. lol.

Yes. The vomit was the most convincing. The sardine flavor was the next most potent.

both...or maybe by what I charmed it with...

I think each jellybean would have its own charm as per flavor and color...and the different flavors could have different colors for different charms on the same flavor...

definitely needs to be eaten... lets just hope things dont go all 'Wonkey' and end up like the girl in Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory (The gobstopper that turned the one girl into a big blue berry...or something like that...)

Well, now that would depend on what the charm/spell you put on it was....and on whose moral compass ;)
