Illegal cigarettes? WTF?

While purchasing a carton of Marlboro's I asked the clerk if he had any clove cigarettes a few days ago. He told me that they had been outlawed, and that by November 1st that all flavored cigarettes and flavored rolling papers and cigar wraps would be outlawed. I was in disbelief...Is there any validity to this? I do not have time to do the research required to find the answer, as I would much rather concentrate on the things I need and want to do in this life. And that is, spend time with people while furthering my education and taking care of them.

What are your thoughts??

So, no more flavors at all. The thinking is that if the tobacco isn't flavored, younger kids won't try cigarettes or get addicted as easily. I had only had one before, and it was a KOOL or something menthol that I did not enjoy as much. For me, it was the aroma, the flavor, the satisfaction, the buzz, and the relaxation I enjoyed...Now, it's just another bad habit and way of relieving stress.
