Hey Everyone,

I have recently started burning incenses again and I'm trying to find something to keep my incense in so they do not rub up against each other, and combine their scents. Do any of you know of a site that offers boxes or shelves that I could buy to separate my incenses?

I used to keep my incense separate by putting them into decorated paper towel rolls, and sealing them inside a baggie inside the roll...its DIY and you are reusing something you normally throw out.

I bought a large vacuum sealed container - like Rubbermaid - and I keep my incense sticks/resins/powers in large freezer bags and put those little packets that absorb moisture in the container with them and keep the whole thing under my main altar where it's cool and dark.

I use some old copper cups to keep them separate but I have a friend that goes to walmart and buys some cheap cups to put hers in. Hope that gives you some ideas.

Hello Raven,

I just place an order for almost $500 worth of Bulk Herbs and a Few cases of Glass and Tin Container's and Bottles for my lineaments, Oils and my Herbal Tincture's. This place is a key word Search site and you can but 1 bottle 6 to 12 of them up to a case at a time. I bought just 1 special Tin my daughter loved the color of for a special facial Cream I taught her to make. I was only like $1.50 for 1 of them. They allow you to chose instead of saying you have to buy by the case only like most places do you. They also sell Lip Balm Containers in small like Carmex Jars or the tall little skinny ones that you can screw the Lip balm up. Here you can but them the same.

I use this place all the time, I just didn't realize how much I had ran out of or my cost would have been cheaper. That includes the Amounts of 36 different herbs I bought and all of the different Tin's doe my salves, my jars of all sizes and the containers I bought to keep the newer Herbs in because my others I have had for years wearing out. I was just time to buy some new ones. You can place your order online or by phone. The Worse thing is, is that the Gentleman is usually in the Gardens or Hydroponic area so you have to leave your name and number and a small summary like Containers on his Answering machine and he will call you back in the afternoon. He has 3 warehouses and is a lovely man to chat with, he will lead you to the right size containers you may need and herbs if you ever go back to him. If you wish I can go a head and grab the area of the Containers and leave the site URL for you and the Phone number.

I just order mine things yesterday and last night I got a e-mail letting me know which ware house had already shipped so of my things to me. they always have been great to me and done what was needed to get my things to me ASAP.

Blessings,

~Tea~

PS: you will also find your Incense stay dry and no cross contamination either

Raven Kelly, I forgot to tell you they also have Crates and offers or shelves as well.

Blessings,

~Tea~

Heylo there, I didn't consider this while wondering why my incense are starting to smell like eachother. *g*  It's a problem I'll rectify this evening.  Ziploc bags and small Rubbermaid containers.  And a Sharpie, for writing on the bags and containers what flavor's in each one.

Tyvm for asking, you've helped me alot! ^_^

I just keep them in the boxes they come in, usually, but when I want something a little more decorative I have a box that I keep them in. Unfortunately I don't know the manufacturer, as it comes from a little shop in my hometown.

I keep in mason jars that I can label and decorate.  keeps them fresh and sway from each other..also clearly marked and if you put the lid on them you can place them on a shelf in your pantry so they are out of the way and wont interfere with your food.

Thank you to everyone for posting all of your ideas on how to store my incenses. At my favorite organic health food store I came across some bags that they have that you can individually store your incenses without have them all put in one bag and clash with each other.  I picked up some and now I finally have my incenses separated.
