Remember CANDIDATE Barack Obama? The guy who “wasn’t going to take away our guns”?
Well, guess what?
Less than 100 days into his administration, he’s never met a gun he didn’t hate.
A week ago, Obama went to Mexico, whined about the United States, and bemoaned (before the whole world) the fact that he didn’t have the political power to take away our semi-automatics. Nevertheless, that didn’t keep him from pushing additional restrictions on American gun owners.
It’s called the Inter-American Convention Against Illicit Manufacturing of and Trafficking in Firearms, Ammunition, Explosives, and Other Related Materials. To be sure, this imponderable title masks a really nasty piece of work.
First of all, when the treaty purports to ban the “illicit” manufacture of firearms, what does that mean?
1. “Illicit manufacturing” of firearms is defined as “assembly of firearms [or] ammunition … without a license….”

Gird your blogs, because if liberals in Congress get their way, President Obama will have sole discretionary authority to shut down the Internet or critical parts of the Internet should he feel his presidency is being tested. Worse, under the guise of cybersecurity, Obama will essentially be granted the power to destroy free speech on the web.
On April 1st of this year, Senators Rockefeller, Snowe, Bayh and Nelson introduced bills S. 773 and S.778, collectively called the Cybersecurity Act, which would give President Obama dictatorial power over the Internet during a time of national crisis or emergency.
All of the bills' sponsors voted for the Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act of 2002 that prohibited organizations and individuals from running advocacy ads against candidates 60 days in advance of a general election. Now it seems these same people have conjured up a gag order for the Internet.
According to the current drafts, under the Cyber Security Act of 2009 the President may "declare a cybersecurity emergency and order the limitation or shut down of Internet traffic to and from any comprised federal government or United States critical infrastructure information system or

U.S. troops are being trained to conduct round-ups, confiscate guns and shoot American citizens, including their own friends and family members, as part of a long-standing program to prepare for the declaration of martial law, according to a soldier who recently returned from Iraq.
We received an e mail from "Scott", a member of a pipefitters union that runs an apprenticeship program called Helmets To Hard Hats, which according to its website, "Is a national program that connects National Guard, Reserve and transitioning active-duty military members with quality career training and employment

I think we're going to have a fight on our hands, in our own country. I don't know very many people that would sit back and let this stuff happen. Of course, some of this I've only recently heard of. I think it's nuts that all these years people have been saying whatever they want about whoever they want, now it's his turn to get the hot seat and it's not ok. As far as cybersecurity, I do think there is a call for some, but only when it's national security and child molesters, stuff like that. There's no reason for them to be getting into our personal business like that. I'm pretty shocked about the last one. I knew they were trained for marial law stuff, of course you just can't imagine it really happening, but to tell them they're going to have to shoot us, WTF!? I wish I knew of any groups that are out there looking out for us, not politicians, but actually looking out for our rights as Americans.
Plus if he's going to bad mouth us to the world, he should step down now!

I would seriously consider the sources on this one. The Prison Planet website is run by those people who stock up on weapons and nazi flags just waiting for the government to come after them, so much of this is carefully worded for shock and awe. I would not disregard the possibility that with extra security comes the potential for certain liberties to be at risk, but that is sometimes the price we must pay to stay safe. I believe the internet security is in response to the idiots who keep threatening national security with viruses. I have nothing to hide. Let the government read my email and blogs. Id be wary of stuff coming from the Prison Planet site though. It's propaganda at it's finest.

I can use other sources, you are mistaking, Prison Planet is run by Patriotic Americans, they get there information mostly from Government documents and actual actions taking place, and video tape the actions, many respected people come on there show to inform the public, I suppose most people were like you in Germany when Hitler was on the rise.

Frankly, pick a new boogie man please, Hitler's ideals/goals/methods aren't scary anymore. That manner of thing pops up now, *boom* he's dropped as fast and as hard as a Somalian pirate.
