PaganSpace.net The Social Network for the Occult Community

Hi all,

I have finally found out after 34 years of life that everything I have always believed in was leading me to where I am now. I feel really drawn to Wicca and it all makes sense now. I have found the courage to wear my pentacle pendant with pride and ignore the strange looks people give me because I know it represents my belief and I feel proud.

I have always wondered why I have loved halloween so much. I have always loved nature, fairies, dragons, wizards, cats, the moon and stars, and everyone says I'm a mother earth.

I wonder if I was born to be Wiccan, if it's in my blood? I truly believe that I have finally found my meaning in life (apart from my kiddies)!! and I hope that I can finally find peace within myself.

Thanks for listening and I'm so pleased to find new friends who have the same beliefs as myself.

Love
Angie

I am glad you have found your path of life. I found it through my grandmother as she was a witch. I guess you could say I was destined to be one.

Wearing your pentacle with pride is wonderful. I wear mine in clear view and do not care what other people think. I am glad you are here in PS and it would be an honor to have you as a friend. I will go request you.

Many Bright Blessings :)

I firmly believe that one can be "born" to be Witch/Wiccan/Pagan!
I have a bumper sticker that says it all...for us, and a poke at the "born again" Christians...

*Born Again Pagan*

As we probably were pagan in our last incarnation as well!
I wish you happiness and joy in your faith. Welcome to the family!
Many Blessings

Angie,

You have managed to put into words what many of us feel. Being pagan just feels right. There's no guilt and there's a lot of love and respect within our culture. We are growing stronger every day. I'd like to say I've never been ashamed, but that would be a lie. I was ashamed and embarrassed during my younger teen years, which also happened to be my unluckiest years. I fell back into it right before adulthood and have never looked back. I am ashamed that I turned my back on something that was a part of me, but the Goddess forgives and she has welcomed me back into the fold.

Very good for you, my dear! Welcome to our little pagan world! :)
I have always wondered the same. My family was seemingly Christian/Catholic the entire time I was growing up (well, my mom always was born again christian to the extreme...that's another story!), but when I became Wiccan, I looked back and realized that my grandmother was a bit of a witch. She was always making concoctions and when she died we found a mortar and pestle in her belongings, among other things. So I don't know if it's something that is in our blood, or maybe in our hearts. Okay, sorry for the ramble! LOL
