I know the main candle colours and what they are used for in spells, but sombody gave me some magenta ones the other day, anyone know what sort of spells these can be used for? and what this candle represents if you know what I mean,
put all your candles in a box. close your eyes. pick one out and hold it. after thinking about the candle's energy for a bit, decide for what purpose you will light the candle. open your eyes and do it. try looking at color through your spiritual eye, you might be surprised at how different it looks then with your physical eyes.
think about this dear.... if you were color blind, would the color matter to you anymore? I don't think you are color blind, so I will say this: the color of the candle is what you make it... for me, Red sure does feel like fire and spirit and passion, so that is what I use it for... and blue feels calm to me, green feels like healing to me, and yellow feels like extra energy (you know how you feel when you step outside on a perfect sunny day or the feeling you get after waking up after napping in the sun....) so that is the energies i associate with those colors...
but if you do deal with what the colors mean, think of what colors make up magenta, and go from there...
so in a way you could say your magenta candles are a synergy of the colors (and synergy is pretty much like the more powerful of energies... energies by themselves are great, but mix energies and you get synergy... thats how I look at it...)
but yeah, in the long run, I agree with Liquidquick...
Hi there Billy ...I have practiced candle magic for a long time and the colour you are asking about can be used for a variety of spells ,for instance it can be used for spiritual spells, for passion ,love ,healing ,psychic healing etc as it is a conbination of both purple which is for psychic abilities, third eye ,spiritual powers and pink which is for love ,affection ,planetary goodwill, caring ,nurturing etc .It would all depend on what you were wanting to use it for as it could be a combination of the two colours you needed

Colors are relative to the beholder; use what you feel is right at the time you need it. Remember, though, Crowleys feeling that there is a mauve zone...ha! BB
