I want to thank everyone for participating in this topic and their thread.
I am interested in hearing what your impressions are of the male mysteries and the pursuit of the mysteries. What difficulties do you encounter? What do you think is missing? What parts particular interest you and what approaches to learning them are the most inspiring to you?

Hail and Welcome!
(or Hail and Farewell!)
I understand your frustration. If you will note, there are several women that have been posting on here that are truly trying to understand and to help effectuate change. You claim you are being "classified" for having a penis, but are you not also doing the same in reverse?
Proactive and positive measures are what we need to effectuate change. Please think about what you are doing. The facts are being discussed right here in this very thread. But your methods must also be measured with wisdom. What good can you do if you get deleted? Effectuate postive change.
Good work is being done here with wisdom and consideration. This really is not the place to lower the flaming sword. Post it on your page if you wish, but please do not taint the good works being done here in this place at this time. You could even start another thread and move it to there.
Thank you.
P.S. I asked to share information on the male mysteries. I did not ask for victims to be cast into the fires.
I'm sorry I'm not going to be shut down because I'm a male, that's grossly unfair in my world. No I am not doing anything of the sort in reverse and frankly I take offense to the statement. If the mods of Pagan Space wish me to remove this post they should remove the blog as well, that would be fair right? Sexist blogs should be removed here and this one should have been removed the day it was posted but it wasn't.
I know we all have different takes on reality planes and who see's what and I earnestly try to take that into consideration for all I come in contact with. I really have to look at the question and my answer, it's truth and it's what was asked of anyone to do here in this thread. I feel this is the place for it and I feel more good work can be done by having it right here where my intention placed it.
We could all learn a good bit from this kind of hatred toward anyone for any reason, race, religion, sex etc. The unfortunate fact as I see it is this is what it is and it's pertinent to the subject. I know it's a very ugly post and I know it's offensive but that's the truth and reality of my daily life as a male pagan. I want you and other to be AWARE of these kinds of things. Should I not have a voice as well as long as I'm speaking the truth?
Then you need to complain to the administrators and write to them about this without hijacking this thread to call for a manhunt or start your own thread.
Have you actually read this thread? These things ARE being discussed. This is not about your penis, my friend, and has nothing to do with being male or female. This about how you are jumping to a productive thread to serve your own purposes and your own agenda rather than starting your own. I come from a balanced tradition and do my best to empower men.
Yet, you have decided that you have the right to deflect the good work being done here? By forcing this, are you not reinforcing the very stereotype you are rebelling against? You are causing more harm right now to the cause right now by your very actions.
I will comment no further on this and leave this for the men to discuss with you. But, remember, while I understand that some pagan males have pain and anger at the situation, I also fully realize that I am not perpetuating it and trying to help the situation. However, I also will not be made the victim for other's action just as you are claiming you do not wish to be.

I gave a fantastic illustration of a specific difficulty encountered. Go in peace.
There are groups that cater more to men, like Knights of Herne. Im not sure of their website, but they are fairly well established. I was going to join them last year but then my life got too busy and my own group took up a lot of my time.
That being said, my group also has a strong masculine bend, but women are allowed. We do male to male and female to female initiations and have separate ceremonies to pass on male or female mystery teachings.
Also, Mead's group offers a more balanced environment.
So I understand what you are saying about an imbalance, but I've never really felt it as strongly as you have, which sucks!!! I can only say that not all groups are like that and there are some who are swinging back toward the center, so to speak.
I recommend studying shamanism if you are interested in a path that is a little more rewarding to men. That's the direction I took when Wicca no longer filled the void and it's been extremely rewarding; definitely allowing for expression of my more male side.
Just some thoughts to help you!!! I realize how tough it can be to find a place in a female-dominated spiritual path, but it's not all bad, believe me. ;p
What you are doing constitutes a violation of fair use of copyright.
Nobody's trying to "shut you down" because you're male. How specious.
What was wrong with posting a link?
The copyright is posted in plain view at the end of the work. There is no violation I'm aware of but if there is please bring it to my attention specifically. Go in peace.
The blog that you have reposted without my permission is my own copyrighted material. You did not have my permission to copy/paste this essay, and I'm going to ask you nicely to remove it. Should you refuse to do so, I will take up the matter with Administration.
I would also like to add that it's perfectly acceptable to leave the link to the essay itself. (I see that you posted the link above the article-- this would have been sufficient.)
