Classical music, some opera. I don't have a particular song that makes me shiver.

I like mainly country. A few songs that make me shiver are Tonight I Wanna Cry by Keith Urban Where Were You When The World Stopped Turning by Alan Jackson American Soldier & Courtesy of the Red, White & Blue by Toby Keith

Country is awesome.


That said, none of those artist are country, they're pop.

Country=
Hank Williams I & III
Johnny Cash
Patsy Cline
etc.

Yes they are country they were never played on any of the pop stations my sister listened to but they were played on the country stations i listened to. who who listened are old school country and i like both the old stuff and the new stuff

Genres are defined by musical composition.

The arrangement of any "country" today is of the pop variety. There is a sub-genre called Outlaw Country, that is awesome.

No.

The songs they "compose" have more in common with the Beatles than country. They put a little twang on the guitar, sing with more, I wanna say vebrato I think it's what it's called, but the lyrical structure and musical patterns aren't country.

Listen to some Hank Williams then Tobey Keith back to back. You'll see what I'm saying.
