I posted months back about my oldest sister who has advanced stage 4 cancer, she was placed into the hospital two days ago from dehydration and confusion. This morning she became very agitated and then she aspirated into her lungs and was rushed to ICU. She's now on life support, they tried to bring her out of sedation hours ago but she went into seizures so, it's not good and she will most likely be taken off of life support very soon.
We were braced for the finality of her cancer prognosis but this was very unexpected. Please keep her and my family in your thoughts, prayers and workings.
I may be a little sparse over the next few days but I'm still here and checking on everything regularly. If you have any issues I will respond as quickly as possible and I'll update everyone as much as possible.
Much Love, Many Thanks & Big Hugs,
Update: My sister passed into the veil at approx 9pm this evening (3/16). She fought the cancer so hard, for so long, I know that she is now finally free, there is no more suffering nor pain.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Focus on your family. That is what is most important.
Sorry to hear that Starr, best wishes to your sister, family, and you.
My oldest sister is in the hospital now also. Last Thursday she had quit responding to phone calls from our family so my nephew went to her house. She wouldn't answer the door but he heard her moaning inside at her bedroom window. He broke into the house and found her delusional in bed. He called an ambulance and she was taken to the hospital with a fever of 104.6 degrees. Her body was sepsis and they found a large mass on one of her ovaries. They treated her with antibiotics and her temperature is normal now. She is being transferred to another hospital so they can find out if the mass is cancerous and what caused her to become sepsis. Being the oldest she was like a second mother to all of us kids growing up. Hopefully she can make a full recovery and enjoy life a little longer. Time will tell.
I'm so super sorry for your family:(
So sorry, Starr. May you have strength in the difficult days ahead, and you'll be in my thoughts.
May she pass peacefully.
"When thoughts of the last bitter hour come like a blight
Over thy spirit, and sad images of the stern agony, and shroud,
And pall, and breathless darkness, and the narrow house,
Make thee to shudder, and grow sick at heart;—
Go forth, under the open sky, and list
To Nature’s teachings."
From "Thanatopsis" by William Cullen Bryant
Prayer and healing energy to you and your family at this time.
*HUG* words sometimes mean less than nothing. i wish well for you and your family.
