I need to find an herbal aid for depression and anxiety. It needs to not interfer with thyroid medications. I know of St. Johns Wort but I think it affect thyroid meds.

I generally feel like crap and am in a foul mood. So If I've been rude or a complete bitch to any one I'm sorry. If I can get these problems straight then maybe it will help my disposition.

Please, please help.

Thank you.

I would try to find either an herbalist, nutritionist or health food store. Don't go by what someone says off the internet, you need to find someone that is certified to help work with you on your needs and knows how to work with herbs and people who are on RX medications. Even with herbs there can be reactions.

Cannabis

Yep, so under rated and unfairly demonized

if they didn't do random drug test at work constantly I would totally go that way

Damn, Nazi job ...marijuana stigma is sickening and ignorant

Bee Pollen, ginkgo, ginseng, gotu kola, licorice and of course st johns wort...I would look into these before using to see how they react with thyroid medications....Sorry to hear you are in foul moods, I happen to have them quite often!  I usually find an at home therapy, like working in the garden, baking or even creating crafts to help with anxiety and depression...Wishing you happiness

Look for a licensed herbalist in your area. They can tell you and sometimes even blend for you a specific recipe for your condition that won't interfere with your thyroid meds. He or she can better determine if its hormonal, or any number of other reasons for the symptoms you're experiencing. Depression isn't universally the same. BTW, do you take birth control pills? I discovered that for me, they really exacerbated my depression symptoms. If your thyroid levels are off, it can adversely affect depression symptoms as well.

Blessings.
