Permalink Reply by Draig Athar on October 20, 2012 at 2:53pm I don't accept others beliefs. I do not accept the notion that belief is something sacrosanct. I have every 'right' to tell someone I think they are deluded, making up fanciful crap and that belief itself is suspect. And they have every 'right' to not be in the slightest bit concerned with what this person says...
Permalink Reply by Aurelia Pontia on October 20, 2012 at 12:47pm I draw the line at several places - dangerous paths (literally as in suicide cults) and mishmashes of paths whose philosophies are diametrically opposed.

I always say extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. So any fantastical claims of being psychic, past lives, magical abilities etc if you don't have extraordinary proof it's probably hooey, that's where i draw my line.
Permalink Reply by Tara Flower on October 20, 2012 at 1:03pm For me it's conspiracy theories, especially the one in which there are reptilians among us. It's just old-fashioned prejudice based on something crazy instead of a real characteristic.
Permalink Reply by Maris Hellfaerie (Maire) on October 20, 2012 at 1:01pm Anything that claims it is the only way, anyone who claims they are in a way (chosen+superior), goody-good-pure"lightworkers", past-life Cleopatras, people who prance around with titles given to them by mythological creatures/gods, people who know what my subconscious does - and it "does something evil", people who claim my energy is all black and cold blahblah blah. Really, I don't think about these things unless I am confronted with them.

Permalink Reply by Draig Athar on October 20, 2012 at 2:46pm I personally draw the line with belief itself. I see no reason to believe anything. If cats can live well by not believing anything and living by their senses, then so can I...

You have no way of knowing whether or not animals have religion.
Also, there is belief beyond religion.
Permalink Reply by Níos Sine Dia on October 20, 2012 at 2:50pm When people make shit up.
When people ignore reality for fantasy.
When people say they are entitled to their own facts.
If a Wiccan admits their religion is not ancient, they can believe what they want. I'd have no beef.
When someone says they are a Druid, I call bull shit on that. They can use the term neo-druid all day.
