I wanted to put in a plug for Pagan-Dating! Not only was I introduced to PaganSpace.net by someone I met at Pagan-Dating, I have had one very meaningful relationship (that did end). I have also made more than several friends and am recently courting someone new! Pagan-Dating is a wonderful place to meet and discuss relationship issues. There is an ad here at Pagan Space for Pagan-Dating. Check it out!
I am sure that with Day's Magick, something could happen for you! Send her a message and get to know her! That lucky man is is out there waiting for you brother!
A few of you have been disappointed that you have not found anyone in your area. Someone has to start the process, why not you? In some things patience can definitely be a "virtue." I would point out that it is possible to meet someone far off and court them! I have met two (not at the same time) wonderful ladies through Pagan-Dating.com that are both from out of state.
The long distance is challenging but yet it also gives a relationship a chance to grow (if you let it), and to get to know one another.
Additionally, I have made more than several friends at the site!
OK, so then what do you do about a long-distance relationship like that? One of you would have to sell the house and quit the job to move to be with the other one. And how would you get to know each other well enough to determine whether you are truly compatible enough for that or not?
I know it can work, but I also know it can be a colossally painful experience if it doesn't work.
I agree Alan, it can be colossally painful. A hard decision to make too. One person has to be the one who relocates. That is a huge deal.
I think back in history to the old West in the United States. Men would write women who wanted to marry and travel out West to meet them. They would often fall in love by letter. What a grand way to get to know someone by quill!
Life can come at us in colossally painful ways. Are we willing to take a chance? Are we better off to remain alone and in our comfort-zone?
