I will say first that I am a pagan and I believe in gods and goddesses. But all lot of the stuff in this video IS bullshit. I do believe that herbs DO have medical properties. As for tarot I only do it for myself as a connection to the divine, but I am skeptical about people who do give tarot readings. I am cynical for a pagan. This video is funny and has some enlightening-ness to it to the dumb F***ery of the new age movement.

Note: what irked me was the woman who said that she may not be native american but she learned from a Cherokee Shaman. NO NO YOU DIDN'T YOU STUPID T**T! The Cherokee DON'T HAVE SHAMANS! I know I am part Cherokee (only a little but it counts though I don't flaunt it) and even I know that!. Hell I thought everyone knew that.

This actually confused me a great deal, because THIS is maca, it is what the camera was on when they said it. So I just thought they said "fossilized dogshit" without really meaning it, but rather to illustrate absurdity.

Ah so they were showing not a picture of fossilized dog poop but of Maca. Ok thanks for the clarification. I thought they were being direct since there are a lot of people in the Far East who use fossils for medicine.

yup. I love to learn about fossils so when I go to a metaphysical booth and see them selling horn coral as "Ancient Red Buffalo Horn" I laugh my ass off.

probably just in a bad mood right now but I didn't like that show at all, because they got the craziest people together to make a whole new age movement look bad.  I'm not saying there aren't a lot of people in the pagan world that are like these people in the show.  

I just don't like these guys I never have to tell you the truth I didn't know they had a tv show though, so I learned some thing new I guess.

The Yoga segement is biased. The doc said it has not demonstrated to do anything specific, but there's been a few studies like this and the related links, have shown Yoga has benefits. In fact I am dismayed that they're acting like it doesn't do things like build muscles. :-/

I do agree about the psychics and the tantric sex guy. Oh gawd, the tantra guy was so hilarious. He was so fake. At least the Sedona heart chick was actually sincere in that she believed what she was doing, I think the other one was an over-glorified prostitute.
