Is it just me or is everyone dealing with this lately? You know....."You are still eating meat" Or "youre shopping at Wal Mart..Do you know where they're trying to build the next Wal Mart,do you? On Native American lands!." PLEASE......I can eat meat still if I choose and by dang,I love Wal Mart. WE need to decide these things for ourselves, makes us no less Earth friendly or less Pagan if we still eat meat or shop at Wal Mart......What do you think?

Am too!

I actually can't stand it either. I get it all the time on the college campus :P
Most my male friends aren't even honest with their girlfriends about how they vote or what they think about things. They just say the most hippy-friendly thing to keep the girls around. Apparently I'm doing it wrong saying what I think :p

LOVE JIMMINY CRICKET!!! I have never been a "yes" person....

When you vote for corporate agribusiness, petro-ethics and conspicuous consumption that harms the earth, you most certainly are a yes person! Dollars are votes and when you eat corporate burgers, you are tearing at the flesh of Mother Nature as well as that of your neighbors. Your dollars say yes to their global domination, corporate greed and a way of life that subjugates the Earth. Those meals say yes to feedlots, low wage jobs and virtually limitless advertising for nutritionally deficient products.
I'm no better than you, I'm just not deluded enough to think that there are no results from my actions! I'm not any smarter than you, I've just followed the money and seen how it flows out of poor and less educated communities and into the hands of those who would exploit them for profit. I'm not any more spiritual either, I'm just sad when I see the terrible results of greed, advertising and corporate welfare. It hurts our bodies, our minds and our spirit to buy into the current economic system that rewards raping the earth and gives nothing back to our fellow inhabitants on the planet.

First people are omnivorous we are born to eat meat..that is a fact of biology..a fact...Second people make rthe best choices they can under the circumstances ...eating a burger at Mickie Ds doesntl make them immoral just fat and poor .....These people you mentioned are a large part of the problem but they are also meeting a need ...ever tried to make ends meet shopping at one of these "locally owned" shopping centers wherr the prices are as much a three times as high

A 'yes' person is someone who thinks something is wrong and says it's okay anyway. If you believe in all that stuff and vote yes, you're being more true to yourself then someone who only votes against because it's 'popular' to do so.

I like meat. Animals are delicious. Plants are living things too, so anyone who refuses to eat meat because it's immoral to kill needs to starve or they're lying to themselves and others.

PS: Everybody needs to take a step back and stop worrying about what other people are doing. Srsly, the post title can not be repeated enough.

Another note: This entire COUNTRY is native American lands. So, before you complain about where they're building a wall mart, consider where your home is. Canada and America were both stolen from the natives, and even without a system of ownership, it's still incredibly difficult to say it wasn't stolen.

Isn't it interesting that most of the people that go around telling other people how to live their lives are actually the people that could use the most improvement in their own?

I always liked that Jimminy Cricket guy, too.

I don't abide liars. I think that you are doing the right thing by saying what you think. I just don't understand why you would call lying weasels your "friends". They must know that they are wrong, or they wouldn't try to hide it. Either that or they think women are wrong, or at least deserve to be lied to (that's misogyny) which is antithetical to pagans! What's wrong with trying to educate others about behavior that respects the Earth? College is supposed to be for learning, not closed minds. Have you noticed that in our list of sacred elements, Mother Earth is listed first? How can you defend or befriend those who would desecrate She from whom all life flows?
This reply was supposed to be to Robert. I'm not sure why this site won't let me reply to those I intend.

I eat burgers

I'm mostly Pro Life

I think PETA has too much time on their hands.

"Going Green" is a lame pointless fad brought on by guilt-ridden rich folks.
