4 most cost effective
I am gratefull in advance for the reponses I will receive
I don't own any software, I go to astrodienst and that gives me all the basics I need for chart interpretation. Professional astrologers have commented that they don't like this format, maybe it's not what they're used to, but it gives you everything you need, including progressions, natal and transits, composites, and more! Plus, if you're a professional, you should be able to read a chart from this type of format. Did I forget to mention that it's free? As far as chart interpretation that's an art in itself. I suppose if you really feel inclined to buy a really good software you could consult mountain astrologer, or even the astrodienst forum (it's a very active forum) and leave a post with the astrologers there. From what I've seen, there are a few here that are knowledgeable of astrology, but its not the strongest point of pagan space. A child of nature should be observant of the stars as in the old days.
I also like Winstar but it can be kinda pricey. You can get totally free astro software at astrowin.com. I have been using it for years and it's really good. The ONLY negative is that you have to look up your own latitude and longitude, which I use astrodienst for. Otherwise, it's awesome. I recommend it. And it doesn't take a lot of space in your computer's memory.
