products causing children to hit puberty way to early?

OK i ha ve done some research and found out that the chemicals in our every day food that we eat and things we use to help with meals is causing the children to hit puberty as early as 9 years of age. now thats messed up some of these products are beef, milk(biggest problem),french fries, soda, flavored water, store veggies, and much more. the chemicals that are causing this to happen are hormone's thats are either injected or feed to the animals/plants to get a higher yield of the product. now once the hormone is in the system its also in its product. dairy farmers use to much of the homones because they have to meet the high demand for milk. also they use chemicals to preserve your veggies while on their trip from the farm in what ever state they were grown in. now these hormones are a big issue because it causes a hormone imbalance and could eventualy cause cancer

Prepare yourself for some harsh critisism, Kalamus. One, for your spelling and two, for the topic you just brought up. Almost everyone here HATE hearing this kind of stuff. I'm not one of those people, but that doesn't really matter.

So you only posted to critisize?

i dont care if they hate it or not and yes my spelling suck because i am using a crapy desktop thats lagging like crazy. they need to understad though that these foods with these chemicals can cause harm

Thankfully, I don't eat any of the foods you've mentioned (I'm allergic to meat, poultry and dairy, and I only eat fresh veggies). I've read some horror stories about how certain foods are hazardous to one's health.

Thanks for the information on the hormones and milk. I for one never stop and think about what might be in the fat free milk that I buy. The only thing I ever think of when pruchasing milk is that it is fat free.

not all milk is fat free though cept maybe skim milk (eww) lol but see i am a farmer so i know the what steroids and growth hormones are uses and the chemicals used to store or preserve these items

I hear this is also why so many high school basketball players are keeling over. The steroids in the beef are said to cause rapid growth that develops holes in the heart. Still, what is the alternative? To eat the healthy diet of a third world country can cost you three times as much. I can't afford that.

Personally, I believe that me, personally, had my period too early. But not because of what you're saying. Why? I was too heavy. When I was younger my mother would make me eat seconds, give me ice cream, etc, because I was too "skinny" in her opinion. In fact, she went to the doctor and asked him what was wrong with me. He said not to worry about it. Her solution. Over feeding. I had seconds, thirds, fourths, etc. I was about 180 when I was 10 years old. When I started my period. Day-um. I'm about that weight now at 19 -> Also :( because I don't want to be this weight.

I think THIS [over feeding] makes the body think that it's at a certain weight [and age]. Thus starting the chemicals in the brain to start puberty.

NPR reported on the topic

Girls in the United States are entering puberty at younger ages than 30 years ago, according to studies, and part of the reason for earlier puberty is that more girls are overweight, some by the time they're three years old. That's the finding of a new study in the journal Pediatrics.

And we found that girls with a higher body mass index at 36 months of age were more likely to have earlier puberty. And we also found that girls who had a higher increase in their body mass index between 36 months and first grade were also more likely to have earlier puberty.

You can read more about it on NPR's site. :3

My mother started at age 11. Myself at age 11. My daughter is 11 and has not yet. But we were/are all thin. So, to me age 11 seems normal. And too young. lol
