Questions about Yule/Winter solstice/ Holiday tree

I been trying to search online info on the origins of the Holiday tree and how pagans have it in there homes for winter Solstice/Yule. I guess i didn't bookmark it and now i cant find it. i wanted to print it out and give it to my husband to read and understand. If anyone has any links with info regarding it, please pass it along thanks :)

do you mean the Holly Tree .? pagans dress the house in greenery mostly holly and ivy at yule .

I keep a black YULE tree up year round with silver faeries on it......The XMAS or YULE tree has several different origins....The evergreen for greenery year round and a symbol of eternal prosperity for some folks in certain paths. Look up Celtic Holidays on WIKI and you should be able to print it out.
