Reality television makes my teeth ache.
Now going into this I realize that most television in general is the true opiate of the masses but by the gods reality television is truly horrific. Reality TV is one of the main agents in the dumbing down of our wonderful country.

I've always found it sad that there aren't as many sitcoms or drama shows on, yet you can be a psychotic terd and be on tv for weeks. I don't mind the ones like americas got talent or dancing with the stars cause they almost remind me of the old variety shows. You could kill everyone on survivor and I could care less.
Give me the Carol Burnett Show! Give me the old Donny and Maries Show! Barbara Mandrell and the Mandrell Sister, Captain and Teneel, Sonny and Cher, 3's company, anything except the bachelor.

Oh sweet goddess, Carol Burnett! I wish they hadn't made her shows so expensive to get on DVD, or I'd have every season she ever made.
On the reality show front, the only one I really get into is Top Chef, because of the food.

OK it's decided, we all need to invest in TV programing stocks, that way we can all call these yo-yo's up and say NO MORE reality shows.... lol, let's all get together and buy Ted Turner out HEHE..

the closest thing to a reality show I've ever liked to watch is a cartoon spoof of reality tv.
Total Drama Island :P
I would however like to see a true reality show like survivor.
I mean cameras on the trees, fly in and parachute down challenges and the occassional meal, and the rest is all them.
