PaganSpace.net The Social Network for the Occult Community

I have given people a lot of freedom here but in doing so I have become aware that some have taken this far outside of the area of acceptable for this site. I have stated word-tired over the years that I do not allow sexual oriented and explicit content on this site as it violates the terms not only of this site but our advertisers as well, which help fund this site.

I have become aware via a major affiliate network that I work with that content on this site is unfitting, they have sent me some links to review and they were 100% correct in their information. I cannot monitor every inch of this site everyday but in giving people freedom here, it has now been taken to the extreme. I will be scanning this site and removing any and all content that is deemed sexually explicit in nature and if I catch it on the site anymore I will just simply begin banning people. I have no sexual or explicit content (including nudity) pasted all over the site, it's very hard to miss but at this point to say I'm displeased with what I've been shown is an understatement.

If you have a group which discusses sexual oriented content this is a notice that the group will be deleted as I am now facing a rather large monetary loss at the moment (ie: it very much helps to keep this site online) because of groups with content that should not be on this site in the first place.

If someone wants to scream "freedom of speech" or "freedom of expression" at me you can go scream it on a site that you pay for as I'm not in the mood at the moment to deal with the dramatics.

I allow everyone here to have their freedom but this is a prime example of giving an inch and some taking a mile.

So, let me recap this > THERE IS TO BE NO SEXUALLY EXPLICIT CONTENT ON THIS SITE that means images and verbal/written.

I know most have done nothing to cause this issue and I truly appreciate that but for those who have it needs to stop immediately or I will be forced to ban accounts.

There are a myriad of websites out there that pertain to sexual and explicit content, please go there and keep it off this site.

Many thanks,

Starr

More Info on what constitutes this violation in our terms:

  • Lewd or provocative images
  • Crude or indecent language, including adult stories
  • Sexual tips or advice
  • Sexual fetish sites
  • Adult toys or products
  • Ads or links to external sites containing adult content

If your site has content which you wouldn't be comfortable viewing at work or with family members around, then it probably isn't an appropriate site to place ads upon.

  • No Sexually Explicit Content - If you're in question then message me with specifics (ie: a distinct example) and I'll check into it and get back to you.

Even More of a breakdown:

  • Contains nudity, violence, or offensive subject matter or contains a link to an adult website.
  • Explicit or Pornographic in nature, defined as (if you have a question about this contact us):

  • B. The average person, applying contemporary community standards, would find depicts, describes, or represents, in a patently offensive way with respect to what is suitable for minors, ultimate sexual acts, normal or perverted, actual or simulated; sadomasochistic sexual acts or abuse; or lewd exhibitions of the genitals, pubic area, buttocks, or post-pubertal female breast, and
  • C. A reasonable person would find, taken as a whole, lacks serious literary, hietorical, artistic, political, or scientific value.

I am taking it sexual discussions about history and deities is alright, just not like someone cybering with someone else or making things about their sex lives? Because there's some parts about culture/religion that can't really be censored.
This is not an issue about mythology or history I assure you. This next part is not directed at you Xoc but I know how these things go on here; so I'm going to put this out there; I'm not going to split hairs over it with people. If I looks as if it's unfitting for the site in the context of the terms it will be removed.
Message me your groups and I'll let you know :)

I know I had posted a 1940's vintage pin-up 'Witch'.  She is fully covered, but in due course, I will remove her now and delete any of my vintage Flapper photos which might be deemed 'too much' (although I don't believe there are any...but will check just in case).

I am not trying to make excuses for myself - but where it the line drawn between something that is deemed 'sexually explicit' and 'art' such as in the case of a fully covered vintage pin up?  I understand this varies with people and because you are the owner - I want to know where the line is drawn with you so I will know not to put up any vintage ladies that may be deemed too 'risque' or something of the sort.

Sincerely,

Prien

If someone is covered (not nude) I don't think there should be an issue with that; I just looked over your pics and saw nothing that would be an issue. This really comes down to explicit sexual content etc. This is a public site, which means all information is public and needs to fall within the area of safe for viewers including minors.

These are the areas that are laid out by the advertiser:

  • Lewd or provocative images
  • Crude or indecent language, including adult stories
  • Sexual tips or advice
  • Sexual fetish sites
  • Adult toys or products
  • Ads or links to external sites containing adult content

If your site has content which you wouldn't be comfortable viewing at work or with family members around, then it probably isn't an appropriate site to place ads upon.

LOL.
*lol* My coffee pot is on (if I drink too much beer I'll probably pass out...lol) because I know this is going to be a very long night.

Starrfire...

Sorry about that thread you closed...;)

Understand why you closed it...

However , a question...no hair splitting...

But would this mean no discussion , such as

in some threads , regarding bodily fluids in

magic(k)al practice ?

That does sound a bit off limits, yet if you're in need of surety then I would need to see the details or examples of such text in my message box.

Got it...I have seen threads on site , regarding

that , yet in context of a discussion on blood magic(k)...

Ah ok, if you're ever in question about something just shoot me a message and I can take a look at it :) Thanks Shawn!
