Im curious in knowing who here has a degree and in what it is in?!  Or to the people still working on theirs (like i am), what are you working on? when will you be done?

I am currently working on my bachelors degree.  I am a psychology major, with a minor in business.  I will (say will cause i dont leave any room for failure, cause, i will not fail!) have a masters in business, and a PhD in psychology when i am done with school. and by the looks of it my dream of those degrees will come true.

I have a diploma in bartending (ABC bartending school), lol...not sure if that counts...but at least I can make a mean drink ;)

Right now my husband is pursuing his career and is about to get his associates degree in IT and visual communications...he is continuing on to his bachelors as well, so for the time being, my career aspirations are on hold so I can be stay at home mommy to my little one.

My main passion has always been art. I absolutely LOVE being a makeup artist, and want to be a Special Effects Make-up Artist and Creature Designer in the future, the school I want to go to is in Orlando FL, so we would have to make a move down there after he graduates and starts his career so I can get started on mine. Horror and Sci-fi has influenced me in so many ways, and I SO look forward to making monsters for film or photos. I'm definitely an amateur, and the only work I've done in the field so far has been zombie makeup mainly, for the Spectremen George Music Video (I'm also in the video), and for the Atlanta Zombie Apocalypse

Atlanta Zombie Apocalypse

I bartended ALOT too,no degrees though......

A person who's a bartender for ten years should automatically get a degree in Psychology.

sure. I'm the girl with the short black hair, black dress with a tied top over it. Here's a pic of me from the video shoot.

And Rickymouse I agree! You really have to be a good listener to be a good bartender, sadly those are few and far between in atlanta now.

Here is me as a zombie for last years Atlanta Zombie Apocalypse.

If you are planning on being in the Atlanta area in October, you should check out The Atlanta Zombie Apocalypse for one of the best scares you can get at a halloween haunted house attraction. Fast paced and definitely scary.

Here is a video of the run-through from last year.

You don't need a PHD or Masters to be intelligent.  You do need curiosity and desire to learn though.  Knowledge is different than intelligence but without some knowledge the intelligence can't be properly applied most times.  I have learned a hundred times more than I ever learned in school.  I only had a couple years of college but college seemed to bore me, it's teachings were too slow and everything I was learning was structured to create people who were conditioned to think a certain way.  How is mankind going to evolve to the next step with teachings like this.  Maybe it's changed since I was in college but I doubt it from what I hear and see.  Well, we do live in a Capitalistic country, I suppose to excel you can't challenge the thinking of the people in charge.
