Skeleton keys and plain "old" keys. An excellent magick tool for removing obstacles, for lovers and for luck. Hecate loves them!
I wear one on a chain for a necklace. So many people have asked me about it and wanted one for themselves that I went on a hunt for them today at various flea markets and antique stores. I found 11 keys today! They will make excellent Yule presents for my friends. :) Thought I would share my find with you. They really work. Here is a picture of mine.

Magickal form-Old fashioned
Wearing an old fashioned key will unlock spiritual doors. Performing spells with identical keys, which are then worn by lovers to protect their relationship. A key given to a lover who is going far away will keep you in his or her heart.
Symbolic meaning- Keys bring to mind locking and unlocking doors. Opening doors and closing doors. Easy transition.
Superstition- Just touching an iron key when danger threatens is considered a sensible precaution against all manner of evil.

Can't explain it but since I started wearing my old iron key I have had wonderfull things happen, my days have not been complicated and things are coming easy for me. Not to mention my relationship with my husband has been fantastic every day!!!

Old or new....if you soak it in saltwater for 3 days it's clean of all bad energy from any previous owner.....

I have several myself, your totally right, I have used mine many times when I need to find a solution to something, "the key unlocks the answer" and when I need to protect something also, "when the kids were little and having issues at school with a bully" Lock them up and keep them safe...I usually have to pay around two dollars for them at the local junk/antique store.
