hmm but how do you pronounce the "sig" part of the "sigil" sig as in cigarette or sig as in sidge?

I pronounce it Sig-ill with sig like cigarette.

LOL That is just how it looked like it sounded to me. I guess I pronounce it sig, like cigarette, and ull, like gull or dull. cig-ull.

ok so i see ive been pronouncing it correctly but i hear also it can be pronounced as seal or sea gull and many other ways

I would have thought it was pronounced the same as "vigil".

LOL i always pronounced athame as "at-ah-me" because some guy got so pissed at me at the metaphysical store i was like how much for that ath-aim hes like what!? its at ah me buddy im like oh take a chill pill
