Over the past week I received some information that Malwarebytes and Cloudflare (the program I run the site's DNS through to stop spammers, free up the cache load and handle the site's analytics) may be clashing from time-to-time.
I run Malwarebytes and have not had an issue *yet* but since I've spoken to 2 people in a week I thought I should bring to your attention and let you know that if you run into an issue contact me at [email protected] w/ your paganspace username and I'll clear your IP on Cloudflare.
So far it's only happened to 2 people that I am aware of but none-the-less just in case I wanted to make everyone aware.
I hope everyone is having an awesome week, I'm about to grab the weedwhacker and start tearing through my front yard, which is beginning to resemble a jungle :)
Hugs!

Permalink Reply by Logos Tartaros on April 19, 2012 at 3:10pm Malwarebytes barks at Cloudflare all the time, but it doesn't stop me from accessing PaganSpace. What I did notice within the past week was that I got the Malwarebytes warning and wasn't able to connect to PaganSpace, but the site was down temporarily when I pinged the server using its DNS and IP address.
I think it's just one of those coincidences where the Malwarebytes message came up at the same time the site was temporarily down, but that's just my opinion....
Permalink Reply by Starrfire Price on April 19, 2012 at 3:15pm Thanks so much for letting me know that. Last week, I had to go into Cloudflare and add a members IP as trusted, when I did that they were able to get right back in and it happened yesterday to Rose, I had to do the same thing. It's like both programs are looking at each other as dangerous...lol
I do recall a few minutes of downtime the other day, where I got the cloudflare screen but then it came right back up. I love technology...ugh...lol
Thank you again!!
Permalink Reply by Logos Tartaros on April 19, 2012 at 4:53pm It sounds like a DNS resolution issue from your service provider; is it ComCast?
Permalink Reply by Jazzmin P. on April 19, 2012 at 4:23pm I run Malwarebytes as well and I continue to have problems while Im on paganspace...infact right this minute Im getting a message of a potiental risk being here at the bottom of my page from MWbytes~ I also have trouble moving thru groups here and reading the boards and constantly get a *Paganspace is not responding* and have to recover over and over again..One of the reason I spend so little time here lately~ = (
Permalink Reply by Starrfire Price on April 19, 2012 at 6:10pm Thanks for the info on that and sorry you're having issues. I'll look into the cloudflare settings and see if the alert status may be too high, that may be causing issues.

Post #44 sums up what's going on...
Permalink Reply by Starrfire Price on April 20, 2012 at 12:09pm I saw that post yesterday when I was looking up info on what's taking place with it, the only thing about it that doesn't fit that is that Cloudflare was actually blocking a few people's IP's that are running Malewarebytes both CF & MB were blocking each other, but when I unblocked their IP's on Cloudflare they were able to access the site without any issue, which means cloudflare was blocking them because Malwarebytes let them enter the site without an issue after I placed their IP's as trusted in Cloudflare. Another thing to note is that likely Cloudflare's blocking screen may have caused Malwarebytes to send off it's block but who knows, I'm just glad it was able to be resolved :D YAY! It's Friday! LOL
