Recently my wife won the toss of a coin and we watched an interesting documentary called;

"Twilight"

It was cunningly cased as a drama, or comedy; or tragedy - or something, actually I'm not really sure which classification it fell under and I refused to go into the video store to see where the wise clerks assigned it's slot.

This was on the level of Shakespeare if it wasn't a documentary. I doubt it's in the classic section yet but they may have to move over Macbeth and Henry V before much longer.

I really must get Netflixs. Maybe for my birthday.

I am left to assume the author of the book lost creative control over the project and they sensationalized her findings.

Fact #1.) Vampires are cold!

How did she know that if she didn't have insider information, huh?

Fact #2.) Vampires sparkle!

Yep, no one knew except vampires before the series was released.

Fact #3.) Vampires are incredibly boring to watch!

Okay everyone probably knew this but still, it's in the film and was not overlooked. That lends itself to authenticity right there.

If you saw this film do you now realize vampires are real or do you remain skeptical even with the proof right before your very eyes?

That scene makes me weep like a little girl... lol

The only thing I have against Stephenie Meyer is I wish I had thought up Twilight first. She's rolling in bucks now.

Wait...would that mean that instead of a glittering vampire, Edward is a glittering Incubus?

Twilight is literary and cinematic genius. *Holds up sarcasm sign*

It may not have been nearly as bad if they had gotten different actors.  Kristen Stewart cannot act, Robert Pattinson should stick to music, and Taylor... well, I actually can't say anything bad about Taylor.  He's too pretty to be mad at.

The books in this series I didn't mind - the movies on the other hand were horrible - Stewart definitely was not perfect for the part - Kristen Stewart talks - scratch that - mumbles at her the floor/her crotch the whole movie so she was socially awkward - Bella in the book was physically awkward but was supposed to be fairly intelligent and witty outside of that. Robert for the role of someone supposed to be so gorgeous that girls want him and guys secretly envy him? Blech! No. and Taylor? I've seen better acting in 5th grade plays...well really I could say that for almost the entire cast so I guess he hasn't committed a new offense but still lol. As to Alice...yes...yes she was hot lol
