I could same the pentacle for later. I found this picture searching for God and Goddess pictures for Litha. It never occurred to me it would be a nice tattoo until now.
Some tattoo artists will do a "temporary" tattoo of your design for a much smaller fee to let you both see how it will come out. It couldn't hurt to ask, most of the ones I've talked to are very open to pagan designs like this and many of them appreciate the chance to do real art work.
That's a good idea. I'll have to call the tattoo shop I got my Claddaugh tattoo at and see if they do that. I know they'd be open to pagan designs. They sell pagan type stuff in the store as well as a variety of adult novelties and stuff.
I think it would be beautiful! Have you thought about maybe putting the pentacle on the neck? Or how about in the shadowed part of the moon on the left? Or the pentacle hanging off the end of the moon? Hope that gives you some suggestions. I think its a great idea for a tattoo.
That's a nice design. I honestly don't know how to incorporate a pentacle into it without obscuring the picture, unless you make the pentacle very faint somehow.
If you ask a tattoo artist how could put a pentacle in it somehow they might have an idea of how they could they are usually very creative. After all that's there job. I like it and I think it would be beautiful on skin.
