Hi my name is Zoe and i'm using my mums name, hope i'm doing this right. Im not sure how long my mum joined this site but i just wanted to tell you all...
A few weeks ago my mum suffered a heart attack, she was posting on this site i just wanted to tell all her friends what happened. Sorry it has took a while to inform you all of this but i've been really worried and really scared. I don't think i will ever get over seeing her collapse on the floor like that and not been able to do anything to help.
So anyone who knows her would you be so kind and pass on this information

Hi Zoe,
I am not on your mum's friend list but please send her my Blessings. It must have been awful for you to see your mum in that way. I have witnessed both my mum & my husband having heart attacks and although I had learned what to do to help them while waiting for an ambulance, I found I was numb with shock on both occasions.
Take care of your mum & try not to worry too much.

Thanx very much for your kind words, yes i also kinda new what to do my dads a offshore medic and he taught me alot of advanced first aid, i was able to do cpr but i still feel what i did could have been better. Been looking after my kid sister and my dad, our mum is the best and our rock her not been here has left a massive gap. The whole house seems too quiet like its holding its breath for mum. I wish she was here doing her own posts and us all laughing about them and been serious as well.

Thats ok, thanx very much. i think my mum only just joined been looking through her emails there are only a few posts from here. but its still kinda weird doing this even though i've been given permission. Dad is not a one for forums never knows what to say, he has his archery and medic forums but ones like my mum does definetly not his thing. i do the 'facebook' thing so according to dad that makes me the better one for the job. So i got the job

Better now, was in ITC and needed lifesupport for 3weeks, mum is at least talking to us now. For a while we all thought that she was going to die it was horrible the waiting.
I've had exams and i've barely concentrated on them, last few this next 2weeks then i'm done best 16th pressie was my mum getting better. When she comes home then i'll celebrate properly.
Anyway gotta go, need to help dad out and get little sprog in the shower ready for school tomorrow and must do some revision for geography exam tomorrow.

Having dealt with illnesses with both my folks,it can be very difficult,especially when so sudden.......Your MOM sounds like she has folks that love her and that will help her too.

I do not know your Mum, but I will pray and light a candle for her continual progress. I can only imagine how hard that was for you. Take care of yourself too..it sounds like you have your hands full. FYI.. sometimes if you talk to your profs and explain what has been happening they can help you when things get better to get back on track.. ie.. extra credit work... I will pray for you and your dad and sis as well. I know it is hard for all of you to be without your Mum, I know you will all breath a sigh of relief when she walks through the door.

Thought i'd update everyone
Sorry I’ve just got some of your messages, did not feel like going on her laptop the last few days, mum had a bit of a setback her liver and kidney function came through as abnormal again and her blood disorder has thrown its self in just to add more probs.
Dad told me not to worry too much, she’s in safe hands but she looks really, really ill. I know things will improve and you can't rush healing but i wish it would hurry up, so she can come home to us.
I've got my last exam on monday so i can spend more time with mum without having to revise.
