what is the most powerfull magic you have ever worked...
I cast a protection spell on a baby blanket and sewed rose quartz and runes to the inside of this blanket.
about 6 months later the friend I did it for house burnt. the crib where the blanket laid and the blanket it's self were the ONLY things in the home that was not destroyed by smoke, fire, and water damage.

Yes, confidence is also important. There are many other examples I will not speak of. I speak of these two simply because both are out in the open now, the spells are complete.

I probably wouldn't say it was a "powerful magic" in the same sense but when I was a child I lived with a man who was, well, not very nice, to say the least. However, last year, my wand broke. Naturally this upset me because I was quite attached to it. But that night I had a dream where the man came back to get me, and I couldn't protect myself because my wand was broken. I woke up all sweaty and pretty much in tears. That day I mended my wand, and that night I had another dream, but this time it was ok, and he left, and I won. Im not sure if this comes under your category, but it's been one of the most interesting things that's happened..

Silverwolf, you should look into lucid dreaming. I've had those sorts of dreams, where something comes after me. And it used to really affect me until I learned to lucid dream. Once I was aware that I was lucid dreaming, I began to alter the dreams to bring about a 'happy' ending. Well, for me at least.
For instance, I was plagued by a series of dreams over the course of a few weeks where every night I was attacked by alot of what I called "evil spirits." They were after a soul, a baby waiting to be born. For some reason I decided I was going to fight them off single handedly. And every morning I'd wake up with bruises and cuts on my body with no explanation as to how they got there. But then I began to lucid dream, and I started having fun with it. Lol, I became my own weird version of Buffy. I'd give one demon balls, and then twist them off. Stupid stuff like that. Since it was my dream, I could do whatever I wanted.
Soon after, they stopped.
So if you could lucid dream, you could dream that when the man catches up to you, he hands you something you didn't know you lost, or he hands you a dozen roses (special delivery) or gives you a hug, or whatever. You can get quite creative with it, and you'd be surprised at how much those dreams affect our waking selves.
Anyways, I would say that counts. Considering the fact that you were aware that the wand was broken one night and mended the next while you were dreaming tells me you've got some natural lucid dreaming abilitiy there....

Oh Hazel you'd be surprised at how many others have learned this same lesson the hard way. Those are one of those instances were you have to laugh at the situation. Either that, or cry.

I can understand the whole "wording" scenerio. I was once feeling very lonely and I felt I wasn't getting enough attention from my husband so I lit a red candle and asked for Love. I got love that night and a new baby 9 months later...LOL.......... She certainly wasn't a mistake and she is a blessing, but remember "be careful what you ask for"

My most powerful magics have all been very personal (new house, new job, etc.) with the exception of one: a few yeas ago my sister had come to visit me and got to drinking. Way too much drinking. When she drinks, she opens herself to negative energies and she can no longer shield herself from spirit the way she does in her every day life (long story here...she has shut herself off from the power that flows in our blood). Anyway, she was being contacted by energies on the spiritual plane that she would rather not have dealt with (dark energies), and we did a banishing ritual together. She was able to allow herself to reach out for the positive energies necessary to complete our ritual, and to see the beauty of what we were doing. It was the most powerful magic that I have ever personally worked, and I suspect that the power was due to our bond as sisters.

The must powerful magick I had to deal with was my body almost getting possed by another entity. Trust me shielding myself was a pain and getting rid of the thing was another pain. Reason i have my mental protection up all the time.
